CHAPTER 8

I have already been two weeks in the village of south wales, and I still find it hard to do things that i want to do , like, i want to take a bath, i couldn't because i still have to get water from the well, i have to pull it up so that i can get my water, but then of course i need to fill up my tub so I have to do it four times, isn't it annoying? And then i have to wash the dishes by myself my own plate, spoon my teacup, i have to do everything by myself, now where was my butler, oh he had nothing to do with me, he just doesn't help me! I marched towards the porch and called out for Gavin, he comes after. "I don't really think this helps." I said crossing my arms and looking away, he doesn't even understand how i feel about this place, doesn't he see me tired? "Well, i can't help you with that." He murmurs and sits down on the chair, i look at him imagining i was strangling him. "You know if looks could kill i would be dead by now." He seem to have read my thoughts. "I wasn't looking or thinking about you." I say feeling defeated as he glances into a big tree with birds by the branches. "I'm going to the library today, and don't ever follow me!" I said as i took my coat and wore it,because it was freezing outside, it was snowing already. After getting my things i turned to him and ran down the hill before i could get out of the gate, I turned to him , he stood up looked at my direction with his hands digged in to his pockets .

Maybe 2 months I'm already dead or by next week I'd be smelling like a rotten person, looking like small branch of tree. As i reached the library the old man who was looking after the place is not around today, weird, he told me he never leaves his library because he doesn't have other places to go too, this is also his house, I went inside and search for books i often read, i was going to get the book when a hand reached it, i look at him, "uhm, that's my book." I said looking at him angrily. He chuckled and smiled, "well it seems that your hand couldn't reach the book so, i thought i could get to read it and bring it home." He said pulling the book out of the shelf , i hurriedly grab it , but he is so fast that i didn't even get to touch it. "Not so fast , child." Is he insulting me? I stood up tall and look at him, i was going to say something when he returned the book to me, i smile. "Here, take it, i was just telling you that you're beautiful." He said and smiled, My heart pounded as I nodded in response "uhm,we-well, i am not accepting your apology." I said, beaming back at him. I was going to leave the library when he grab my hand, "what's your name?" He asked, "it's none of your business mister nobody." I turned my back to him and started walking, "well, my name's Harry!" He shouted, people started looking at my direction. What is he trying to do , is he making me embarrass? I turned to him , i forcefully smile, bow and left running.

I smiled when i saw Gavin waiting for me up the hill, i was still running, suddenly i bumped into a hard thing, i fell down and it fell on top of me too, when i opened my eyes, i see a man with grey eyes, dark brown hair tall nose and thick dark eyebrows and he is also very heavy. "I can't breath!!" I tell him then he hurriedly stood up and he reached for my hand before i could reach his hand Gavin pulled it. I got up and saw them glaring at each other, "I'm fine Gavin, let's go." I pulled him as i walk, but then the guy came closer to him. "Nice to meet you..Gavin." he whispered to his ear and left, i pulled him harder because he was going to follow that guy. He turns towards me "I'm sorry for being rude." I nodded and we started walking, i was going to ask him about the guy awhile ago but he seems to be thinking deeply. today seems to be a good day and won't be raining later tonight, i took a deep breath as the breeze suddenly blows towards us, i look up the hill and saw a lady standing by the porch, Gavin looked at me and ran towards the lady, i turned my back at them to avoid myself getting hurt in the scene, this was chaotic. It seems to be that i was the third wheel of their relationship, i slowly turned my head and took a look of the lady's face, i seem to have seen her before, i did not mind them at all since i live inside the house too, i slowly walked passed by them looking down , then i hit my head by the door, that was embarrassing, i felt chills run down my spine as i see them both looking at my direction , i was going to grab the door knob but Gavin opened it for me, i immediately went inside and ran upstairs and locked my door, i tiptoed so that they could not hear me walking towards the window eavesdropping, i peeped out the window and saw them looking at me, oh great, i was caught eavesdropping, Just great. I dived on my bed and rolled over, i really remember that face, somewhere around the castle, with Gavin, then i suddenly remembered Luca, yes! It was at the wedding banquet, he was talking to her that time into the garden, and i was hiding by the bushes, and guess what, i still got caught hiding. But i have never seen that girl around the castle, but she was wearing a gown that night, and they were so close to each other, then i thought of eavesdropping again, i slowly walked towards the window, thinking as if was just passing by, when i turned to look at them, they were not there anymore, I opened my curtains wide to see that maybe they were just at the other side but they weren't there , i was startled when i heard Gavin's voice at my back, "you know, eavesdropping is bad." I turned my back , he was standing by the door crossing his arms with his sleeves folded up, god he look so handsome, what am i thinking again. "That's the second time you came in my room that my door's locked and yet you can still come in, Wow, you should teach me." I said glaring at him.
