Derrek came to the hospital to see Clara. He met Mr. and Mrs. Young and learned that Clara was not waking up even though there were brain activities.
"The doctors are also clueless now," Lionel said, sighing. "I don't know what to say."
Derrek was sorry when he saw Mrs. Young crying. He had always noticed her eyes to be red and puffy whenever he saw her. He felt helpless because he could do nothing to alleviate their suffering.
Clara was innocent, but she was in this condition because someone wanted vengeance on the Wilsons. What was her fault? She was not his girlfriend.
It was just that his mother wanted to marry him to her.
Derrek felt responsible for her. He wanted to do anything in his power to help this family.
"Can I see her?" he asked slowly, afraid that they would not allow him to see her.
