"I'm sorry. But can you please not yell?" Brad asked when they got to the rooftop.

"Don't you dare tell me what to do!" Grace snapped at him. 

"I wasn't trying to tell you what to do. I was telling you what not to do. It's late at night. You shouldn't yell," Brad said in a reasonable tone which only seemed to annoy her even more. 

"Oh! Really? I can't yell when I want to, yet you almost pulled down the roof earlier?" Grace asked incredulously as she stared him down. 

"Fine. I overreacted. I'm still mad at you for not telling me about my grandmother's health, but I admit I was wrong," Brad said apologetically, looking for the right words to say to calm her down.

"You think that is the only thing I'm angry about? I would have told you about it earlier on, but I noticed you seemed stressed out, so I didn't want to add to your stress, and you proved me right!" Grace said with a hiss.
