Turning during the void moon

In Mai's office with Alex, he had just finished turning my pseudo fangs into legitimate ones, I was dizzy from being numbed just in case I was bad as the first time, being told to rest the day away. The process is easier after you have already dealt with the harsher symptoms.

I was able to finally retract my fangs, pseudo they stay put unmovable from their position.

"Christian! I got your first meal!" Alice shouts.

Holding high in the air a vial of blood, her foot gets caught in a traveling cord tripping. The vial flies out of her hands and smashes into the rug. Alex and I watch the dismay on her face handling a simple task at hand, I want to get up to help, but I am shoved back.

"I am so sorry Christian, I keep forgetting about the cords." She wails regretfully.

"It's okay really," I answer cheerfully.

Never in my life have I ever seen her be overly clumsy or jittery, she always was the picture-perfect queen, fashionable, respectable, or was that what she wanted me to see?

Mai comes in watching Alex help Alice pick up shards as I lay down.

"I am not going to ask." She laughs, "I heard you have a certain phobia?"

"I…do…" I comment.

"Would you feel better in your room to recover?" She asks.

A plethora of voices could be heard outside, the house is sent into a frenzy. This meant the sky had finally dawned into the crimson veil reaching into the human world. We can be attacked easily.

"Alice, we gotta go right now!" Alex yells.

"Right Darling!" Alice replies, "You got to stay Christian!"

"Next time we can be a team!" Alex states.

Helplessly I lay in the bed, but there is so much unease I can't trust sleeping the void moon away. I am immobilized due to the medicine's strong effects.

"Will Everett be in the house?" I ask.

"Good luck guys!" Mai says waving.

"Are you going to stay with me?" I inquire.

"You are joking, right? This is when I do intelligence to Saniya. You will be fine. I will lock the door if you feel that insecure." Mai laughs.

"Gee…thanks…"

"Go to sleep idiot, you will feel better in the morning."

I hear the door lock behind her, I fall asleep momentarily due to the medicines working. Pseudo awakening was already painful. Assuming that the whole compound is away now. No one told me how painful turning could be.

Movies and shows make it look so easy, but in reality, it is painful and I hate it truthfully.

There is no one, in reality, I can really trust, but here I am being tossed around like a ragdoll by a witch. Lifting my shaky hand in the air.

"Golden…gaze!" I weakly yell.

My hand falls back to the bed gawking up at the ceiling, Colton appears in front of me from the air in a jumping position landing on his feet posed with his hands on the ground.

"Colton?" I whisper.

"Get ready, something got inside!" Colton says.

"What? I can barely move!"

"You shouldn't be activating things, it's how I read you were here!"

Colton throws me a small pouch, I pull out a thin small gem in confusion.

"I need you to eat at least three of the Christian! I am going to teach you how to use the doll phase properly idiot!" Colton says.

"Doll phase?"

"Eat first!" Colton encourages, "You have a few abilities you need to learn!"

Quickly crunching the tasteless gems in between my teeth I consume them swiftly. Trembling to sit up, I watch the door.

"Wait the door is locked though!"

It opens slightly, Colton gives me a smile. I became angry with him because he knew it would be late to prepare.

"Hehe…I smell the aroma of fear." The voice hisses.

The entryway busts off its hinges from a gust of wind, Colton sprints towards the being with all his might. I am standing here hopelessly leaning against the chair. That's when I get a glimpse of the being.

The same angel that bore through Alex…she was waiting.

"Christian…do you want to know who killed Gavyn?" Colton asks.

"I do!" I cry.

Flipping in the air tossing what seems a million daggers at the creature's beastly large wings, they are deflected when the thing shields its body.

"I need you to listen to my instruction, I know you can't fight this right now!" He shouts.

"Okay…"

"Run past me holding your breath after using the doll phase hitting her in the back!" Colton instructs.

Because of the medicine, the air is completely cold around me, the doll phase must be when those bad thoughts hit me.

"Don't you dare think negative thoughts! Clear your mind idiot!" He scolds.

Moving her wings back, the angel pushed them forth. A gust of wind easily knocked me against the hospital equipment in the room. Colton could no longer hold her off; she came for me in a hazy medicated state I was barely able to defend myself.

"Get up fool!" Colton shouts, "Say it! You got to say it please!"

Picking me up by her hand sticking me with her sharp nails I cry out, my body is too weak to fight her.

"Fine! I will do it!" He growls.

"St-stop!" I yell, "Colton don't!"

The celestial being bit into the collar of my neck, it would reach back down to take another chomp out of my flesh. Shakily grasping out to thrust the thing off me.

"I am tired of things here already!" I howl.

My gold gaze activates on its own being. The gem caused it to leak red liquid. Instinctively I force my palm into its face, a blast of red residue ripples out gradually to quickly come back with speed to squeeze around the angel attacking it curling around its body like twine.

It cried out in agony, hitting the floor-bound its crimson ties. It evaporates with maniacal laughter lingering in its wake. Colton looks at me.

"You weren't trying to kill it, just subdue it.' Colton states.

"I really hate you…"

"You would have been angel food if I didn't come, they know you exist till now within the halo. She is going back to her unknowing master." Colton responds.

"What just happened with that red powder?" I ask.

"Cyprdrenite, it's useless unless you are a veil crosser or an angelic being. Since you are a light-bearer you can use it to offset their magick…it becomes anti-magic from a light dweller." He explains.

"So I can repel it…"

"Exactly!" Colton exclaims happily, "You are so slow."

"I just turned today! Shut up!"
