Saving two birds

Nodding side-to-side Clarence wasn't sure about taking a needle injecting it in a spot near his neck, he quickly dozes off. 

"If I am guessing you are another Alice, you were recently absorbed, correct?" 

"Oh, you can tell?" She cackled. 

"Your personality is completely different." 

"I got caught so easily it seems." She laughed. 

"You plan to help him don't you?" He smiled. 

"The question is…will you tattle on me?" Alice questioned. 

Averting his eyes from Alice and Christian's sight, he decided to turn away, not answering first. 

"I don't want this for him, I know you know that we are constantly lying to him." 

"Then let me save him, Clarence…" 

From many questions to becoming dull, sad, and forlorn. Gawking down at Christian, his pitiful state of being nearly no way of life for anyone. Alice and Shimon had made a deal to keep him long-term for their own benefits.
