'Devil's Assistant' escapes

A large black car pulls up to the front of the hospital, the door is opened by Doctor Silas.

"It's been a long time since you came to visit us," Silas says.

"Likewise...let's take tea." Everett answered humbly, "Oh Alice you are here."

"Of course! Someone had to watch over Christian." Alice reassured her master.

Everly peeks from the doorway waiting for Everett to stroll in through the door to pounce on him.

She grabs a hold of his arms, overly excited by the developments of getting to actually see him, not just see him on an informal basis or run-ins with other clans.

"Where is the main chairman Doctor Silas?" Everett asked.

"He is out at the moment...he isn't even here," Silas confirmed.

"He is never here when I need that useless man," Everett responded irritably.

A scream is heard down the hall, Everett practically glides down the long corridor leaving the others to catch up with him.

Three guards lined up at Chara's room come out holding a gun out at the fire exit, the night nurses could be heard clamoring away.

The door is smashed open by a hunched figure carrying the clan's maid on their back as if he had been in the army from the way he is carrying her around his neck, Demi pulls her gun out firing all seven rounds into the body of the form.

"Wait! Don't hurt him! He is still human!" Everett yelled.

"Christian!" Alice shouted loudly.

His body plummets from the platform, Everett and Alice dash over to find he is nowhere in sight.

"I am going after him now big brother!" Everly shouted, jumping out the door.

"He is fast in this form, you idiots!" Everett argued, turning to the three guards.

"He won't get far after it wears off!" Demi replied.

"You better explain what happened to him!" Everett demanded to know.

"Everett, come in here please!" Silas replied, motioning for him to come.

Doctor Silas has the room door wide open, Everett strolls in to find Dominique and the other nurse on the floor.

Christian's bed is covered in blood and the equipment used to nearly extract his eye from the socket. Silas picks up one of the utensils in curiosity.

"Dominique you really chose the wrong tools it seems," Silas claimed.

Dominique growls under his breath-holding his face gazing up at Everett, the nurse tries to sneak away to be caught by Alice pushing her back in the room.

"This is an awful lot of blood Dominique…" Alice says. "Oh yeah, where is Alex?"

"He had to hold down the fort in my place hence why I only came," Everett answered.

"I see…" Alice replied.

The anxious clan leader paces around Dominique, helping him stand on his two feet.

"I knew you were acting funny lately. This is inexcusable, Dominique." Everett said in a cool tone.

"Christian ran most likely thinking we wanted to hurt him…" Alice replied worriedly.

"If Christian even survives those bullets, that is…" Doctor Silas disputed.

"We got to find him, Master Everett!" Alice begged.

"You are right...we will discuss it at home…" He mumbles to himself.

Everly comes from outside with the look of defeat on her face, disappointed that she failed her brother. She ungloves her right hand, piling it into her pocket.

"We barely were able to catch sight of his big brother!" Everly stated out of breath.

"Now whose fault is this?" Everett says glaring at Dominique.

"I am going home!" Dominique snapped.

Everett extends his arm out towards Dominique stopping him from leaving the room.

"Everyone leave please…" Everett asked the others.

They obey by allowing Everett and Dominique to have the room to themselves amongst all of the chaos.

"Please pack your bags and leave the clan…" Everett explained in dismay.

"Are you joking with me?" Dominique howled.

"No, leave and never come back please."

"Over that stupid human?" Dominique argued.

"That stupid human now carries a dangerous ability and we got to find him now."

"If you let me go, help me, I will make sure to find him and make sure he is dead!" Dominique promised.

"Harm a hair on his head and I will make sure you are ash…"

"Try me…" Dominique threatened to slam the door behind him.

Everett lets out a deep sigh, he steps outside to see Alice, Doctor Silas, and Everly waiting.

"We saw Dominique leave…" Alice stated.

"He is no longer a part of the clan Alice." Everett declared.

"I see…"

I am sorry I caused Christian so much trouble…" The troubled clan's leader replied.

"How do you plan to find Christian?" Silas asked.

"That's why I want to get home first, I am not really sure," Everett responded doubtfully.

"Is there anyone with similar ability that could help us?" Alice inquired.

"Are you still friends with Steel's clan?" Silas pointed out.

They all ponder a moment in togetherness, Doctor Silas's phone goes off causing him to leave temporarily from the small congregation of friends.

"Steel is pretty awesome though." Alice replied thoughtfully, "She doesn't have a sword…"

"Alice, you should never bring up those reminders to her." Everett scolds.

"Yes, master...what about her trusty butler?" Alice said with a snicker.

Everett grabs Alice by the shoulders speechless that very second with a thought on his mind.

"Alice, you need to turn tonight!" Everett yelled.

"What? Why now when Christian is gone?" Alice shrieked in shock.

"I am not losing you to anyone...you are precious Alice," Everett reassured her.

"Everett, you are actually here?" A loud voice chimed in over them.

Looking over they spotted a tall man dressed in a doctor jacket over his civilian clothes, he looked very tired. His eyes seem to droop with the black bags hanging under his eyes.

"Moran! You are actually here for once?" Everett responded.

"I got a call to come because we had a few of your men," Moran answered.

"They are gone...don't worry about it," Everett said.

"What do you mean they are gone?" Moran yelled, "I can help you find them."

"That would be a big help, Moran, I am worried about Christian most of all."

"He is now our new 'Devils Assistant' and he took off," Everett explained.

The three guards line up in front of Moran with their hands in the air to salute, Demi has a miserable look on her face letting her hair fall to the front of her eyes.

"This is my fault!" She pleaded.

"Demi...I am sure you tried your best." Moran voiced his sympathies.

She bows all the way down feeling humiliated about earlier occurrences. She squeezes her eyes shut feeling her face flush hot about to cry.

Moran pats her gently on the head only to smile back warmly, she pulls herself up to gaze at him longingly. Demi passionately shows her care for the current head.

"I won't judge next time we get new parties in the facility, I am so sorry!" Demi yelled.

"You work in an environment where you see many unusual things and the one thing you pressed a matter with was one you did not know of Demi?" Moran questioned.

Demi nodded, clapping her hands together nervously, Moran drops the topic understandably.

"Do your best next time please…" Moran scolded gingerly.

"You really are too kind to them, Moran." Everett expresses hopelessly.

"They are only human, we can change Everett." Moran illustrated kindly.

"You are right...I can't win here."
