Chapter 11- The Change

Nova was sipping some more chocolate smoothie in his house after doing a small personal celebration of the end of his exam and also for his runes as he was not able to advance other than crossing a major threshold.

Nova: "Anikta you there?"

Anikta: "Yup can hear you loud and clear and gotta say these long distance communication runes are pretty amazing."

Nova: "i an the one that made them so yeah it is. Anyways that's not the topic i wanted to speak to you today. I Believe we should all have a big meeting to discuss everything for the big raid that's about to happen."

Anikta: "You're right both mine and Leon's subordinates all want to meet you. other than that it would give a big morale boost as well. I will finish up my work here and then return with my team that will participate."

Nova: "You're right i should take a look at the new members and yeah then talk to You later."

After that Nova went in front of the mirror in his house to take a look at his face and mentally prepared to give a speech for their raid. "Man being a leader has It's perks but sometimes It's annoying as well"

After saying that Nova left to the place they will meet.

The playground or at least that's what it was supposed to be but Nova made a base for himself in the underground using runes and magic. He even used some artifacts from the system.

The underground base looked pretty clean with silver white colors on the wall and everywhere. Everything here was operated my Runic androids that he made.

He even created a full on weaponry system against enemies. With elemental attacks, mirages, laser beams even gravity pressure traps.

He made sure that no would be able to get our here alive after attacking. Other than that he also has the most advanced surveillance system that watches over everything in the base it also serves as the A.I in this place.

This year Nova even made plans to launch his own satellites Which would be made by magical materials and would be programmed by runes so no country or empires can detect them.

Soon Nova felt spatial fluctuations occuring above the base.

"Seems like Leon's team was the first to arrived".

He went outside to greet Leon and for the first time Leon's members saw their leaders face although many were surprised they dare not show disrespect to the leader thus they went inside the base and many of them where very surprised to see it.

They were even more awed by everything. So when they noticed that all these things operate on magic and runes and are far advanced than anything in the world.

It Didn't take long for Anikta and her forces to arrive they too were surprised but composed themselves quickly.

Nova finally started talking about the raid they will participate in.

" Okay everyone as I'm sure that You're all nervous and are waiting to kick sone monster ass. But just cause you have a system and are strong Doesn't mean that you can't die".

All of the people that gathered here were woken up properly by that sentence. Those that were very confident now thought strategies of what to do when they are cornered.

Nova who saw this had a smile on his face. He continued "Of course since many of you have worked hard on this giving up many things in your social life it is indeed something to be excited about specially the loot. Like i mean who Doesn't like good loot right".

At that moment all of the subordinates had stars in their eyes because their leader was right. Many of then were mostly excited on what loot they would get.

Nova now knew he had the absolute attention of all of them. Thus he continued. " Now now Let's not get too excited there are still battles to be fought and wars to be won and i can tell you all this our future is infinite well i Won't say any speeches just give it your all."

All the subordinates got pumped up and excited at the thought of all the things they can do in the future thus all of them had reignited their faith and trust towards their faction and their leaders as they now go to prepare themselves.

Looking at all of this both Anikta and Leon had smiles on their faces they also felt pumped up and got ready to sortie.

Nova stretched his body and also equipped his runic armor made from Steel and a combination and stellar titanium a metal that's mostly found on one of the moons of Inamorta. its light but very durable enough to withstand direct nuclear blasts.

As they all prepared to go to the sub-dimensional dungeon Leon came near Nova and said "It's quite funny Isn't it i still remember when we were excited as kids on Christmas while going tl the dungeon but now the dungeon is pretty much obsolete to us in our lvl".

Nova looked at him with familiar smile and said " Yeah it is after this final boss it is pretty much obsolete to us but hey It's still good for new members and earning money as well as a good memento".

Leon smiled at his words and said "You're right can't wait to see how much you've changed Nova".

Nova replied "Same but lets not take it too far otherwise the newbies might get scared".

Nova and Leon at this moment were happily talking and if anyone heard then they would be shocked but It's not false Nova and Leon have gotten to the Lvl where one of them could easily overthrow whole countries. So It's not an exaggeration to say that they are the strongest beings in thia planet.

When they entered the dungeon they immediately went to the ruined city and yes after they traveled and explored this dungeon they found a place with thousands of monsters and one big looking skeleton knight leading them.

The 120 men and women moved stealthily and observed the thousands of ghouls, zombies, skeleton soldiers, mages and archers it was full functioning army but they Weren't scared they were excited.

Then it began Nova flicked his fingers and created an empty magic circle and immediately filled it with decade class runes and then he made 10 more of these circles spread then around him in a line formation soon the weather over the flat ground where the dead army was turned Pretty bad.

The clouds were dark thunder was seen but strangely the thunder was golden in color. Seeing the effect Nova smiled and then he flicked his fingers again and the circles disappeared and reappeared again but a 100 times bigger above the head of the undead army and then as if a god himself smited from heaven a loud 'boom' sound was heard more miles around and soon hundreds and thousands of golden thunder fell upon the undead army annihilating it.

The men under Nova were shocked to see such power from their leader just by flicking his fingers but he wasn't done yet this time he created runes out of thin air and then directly those runes attached themselves to the circles above and soon emerald green fog covered the battlefield and it swept the undead all those that were hit by it they either turned to dust or just disintegrated as if they were never there.

This was century class atk rune that Nova made along many others.

Seeing this Both Anikta and Leon were also surprised and awed of their friends power but they followed soon.

Leon used his sword that was glowing purple and slashed the air and everything in the path of the slash was cut effortlessly and not only that he also jumped right in the battle. Everywhere he went hundreds died. His combination of magic and sword fighting were very good to look at.

Anikta also Didn't wait she projected a giant magic circle and from inside came thousands of light projectiles she then created 3 more circles and other colored projectiles were creates she immediately launched them towards the thousands of undead still stunned from Nova's attack.

Immediately the undead army lost another Significant portion of their forces at this point the giant knight in dark armor rushed towards Leon who was fighting like he went berserk.

Both of them clashed but Leon was pushed back a little this showed how strong the monster was. Anikta supported him by throwing chains and wrapping them around the Knight.

These chains weakened the knight and Leon then proceeded to fight it gaining the upper hand but the Knight then Used a dark aura attack the chains were destroyed and then he conjured dark bullet like objects and fired them towards their group.

Nova just looked at the attack smiled and then conjured some defensive runes and then a transparent dome was created which absorbed the attacks.

The knight looked at this got angry then it attacked with more ferocity and it looked Leon lost his upper hand.

Leon kept parrying striking and then doing spins, rolls and Other sword moves and it looked like two legendary warriors were fighting eachother.

The ground cracked and was destroyed as the Knight got serious so did Leon he used his own aura and body Strengthening spells. His body looked red and he was now able to push the knight back.

Their battle destroyed the surrounding trees and ruined building Nova's and Anikta's attack pretty much demolished more than 80% of the ruined city.

Nova then used a decade class restraint rune the knight lost power but it wasn't long before it was able to regain It's strength.

Nova saw this got annoyed then he told Leon to take cover which he did.

Then he made another rune then grinned wickedly at the Knight. The knight then looked beneath him and saw the ground swallowed him.

Underground many spikes and and earth chain bounded the undead and after five minutes it noticed a white orb coming closer Which kept burning It's body and soon it died.

[Congratulations you've killed the Knight of Valor]

Nova looked at the message sighed he knew a bit about the history of this place. This place was cursed and then the curse eventually turned the guardian Knight his soldiers and the citizens under his protection also succumbed to the curse and turned undeads.

He payed his respect and buried the knight underground. He also received a spell.

[You've received the magical spell of 'Touch of Death' ]

To Nova it sounded pretty ominous but he knew it would probably be a good spell.

The men under Nova and his friends finished up rest of the undead which were still a few thousand.

They all finished this whole raid under 6 hours more or less. Nova had to admit he was also a bit tired after all he had to use century class runes which were not very easy to cast if not for his advanced runic mastery.

Soon they all departed but not before sorting the loot and spells among them.

Leon got the knights armour which was better than his own and also the knights sword.

Anikta got the core of the knight as it would help her create a good staff for casting magic and making it even stronger.

Nova, Leon and Anikta took one last look at their first dungeon and left as they looked forward to many more to come.

First Arc Has ended and i know it was very short but, you guys have to know that there were time skips.

I was also a bit sick so i Couldn't write and i will also try to write more in the coming days to make up for it.

This first Arc was basically for Nova and his friends and to showcase their growth. There are many more Arcs planned as there will be many new things coming look forward to that guys.
