How To Make Friends

It has been two weeks since Cynthia fought with the two Leagues, two weeks of countless calculations that made her power grow even stronger! The man thought of fighting beings like Doctor Fate had made her gain magic rated combat spells to a point of not becoming a joke anymore. The thought of fighting Wonderwoman, a veteran warrior made her body become a warrior's wet dream. The thought of fighting Superman had made her change her seal to become a thirteen triagram seal! It was an unnerving two weeks but something caught her eye the previous day.

Batman, Aquaman, Green Arrow and Flash were bringing their proteges to the Hall Of Justice, DC to become Justice League members. Only, their proteges would run off to Cadmus and get Superboy. That made her think that maybe, she can get a Superboy of her own! So, she had arrived at the Cadmus building and was watching it from an adjacent building.

'The genomorph has just started the fire,' she observed. Her eyesight was able to capture everything even if she was four hundred metres away. 'Now, all I need to do is wait for the sidekicks to get in, distract everyone else and I will get myself a Superman clone loyal to only me.'

She did not have to wait long before the sidekicks arrived. The first to jump in was Kid Flash, going to save the scientists that fell off the building, bringing them safe to the ground before he scaled the walls again, tried to get to the broken windows but failed spectacularly. Robin jumped into action and Cynthia was amazed at how light on his feet he was. She thought about how amazing he would become if she trained him.

'Got those treacherous thoughts out of your head, girl. Getting involved with Robin is like getting involved with Batman. You don't need anymore attention from him than you already have,' she quickly purged those thoughts in her head.

"Alright, they are in. Time for me to make my move," she said then threw a shurikens inside the building which she used as a means for substitution jutsu.

'Elevator this way,' she thought, going down the hall and found an open elevator shaft with a cable still attached to it.

'Noobs!' she scoffed before taking a step off the ledge, making her fall all the way to sublevel 52.

BOOM!

'Superhero landing!' she giddily as she landed on her right knee, right hand on the floor and left hand outstretched behind her. 'Wish I had a selfie stick.'

She got back in her feet and pried open the elevator shaft doors.

"Gloomy and stuffy, just what you would expect in a villian's layer," she said before clapping her hands and she turned into a fly. 'Time to find project Kr.'

She flew around the place, staying away from the genomorphs' sight till she finally found it. She landed on the door and crawled to a blindspot.

'Now, I wait again,' she thought.

Patience is a virtue she had come to posses during stakeouts and seeing all the funky colours due to her fly eyes was kind of entertaining. The electromagnetic spectrum all around her was of different colours it was kind of intriguing. It made her wonder how flies interpreted them. Like, she knew color red in a traffic sign meant the. ars were to stop and she had to cross. But, what would it mean in a fly's tiny brain? She asked herself more philosophical questions until the door started opening.

'Finally! Nearly got lost in the dangerous embrace of my brain,' she sighed in relief before she flew in. In the middle of the room was Superboy, half a Kryptonian and half a human. Luther's and Superman's DNA mixed to make a child, it couldn't get gayer than that!

"Is that him?" she heard Kid Flash say from behind, reminding her of her mission. She perched on a wall and watched as the idiots debated on their morals before deciding to wake up the clone. She thoroughly enjoyed the ass kicking they received for their effort.

'Cadmus really did a good job in making Superman clones. If they waited a little more before getting him out, he might have received all of Superman's abilities,' she thought just as Aqualad was put down. The clone then proceeded to rip the vault door off and the scientists outside got inside.

'Good, leave me alone with my clone,' she thought as the lead scientist called Desmond ordered for the three sidekicks to be put in pods and have their DNA taken and make clones out of them. Everyone left and Cynthia transformed back into her vigilante persona.

"Thought they never leave," she sighed before she started knocking on the walls. She went all around till she hit a wall that felt hollow. "Gotcha!" She clenched a fist and punched the wall, sending the door hidden by the fleshy wall to be sent flying away revealing a whole new section of Cadmus.

"Creepy," she frowned as she saw all kinds of creatures been kept inside pods. She new they were the first steps at Cadmus to make genomorphs but the bastards were ugly. "Bingo."

She finally saw the Superman clone she was here for. Sure, Connor was the better choice of the two being that his DNA was more complete and stable but she herself was no slouch either especially with the kind of medical ninjutsu in her mind collected from Orochimaru, Tobirama Senju and Tsunade Senju themselves. She could make the clone's DNA stable and she would have a Superman clone with all his powers.

"You're cute when you're asleep," she chuckled, seeing the clone in deep cryogenic sleep. She turned to the panel before obliterating it with a punch. The cryogenic pod hissed at it slowly opened, the clone inside slowly coming to to his consciousness. When he saw her, he frowned a little, wondering who she was.

"Hi," she greeted him as he walked out of the pod. "I'm your new best friend." (A/N: Friendzoned from the start!) The clone suddenly growled aggressively before he pounced at her, only for her to sidestep, making him fly past him. Suddenly, his left ankle was held by a strong hand and he found himself looking at the ceiling before his back slammed on the floor, taking his breath away.

"They say friendships are sometimes forged after a good fight," Cynthia said cracking his fingers. "Let's see just how deep our friendship will be."

The clone roared in anger as he got up and fired laser beams towards her but Cynthia suddenly disappeared from his sight, surprising her.

"So slow!" Cynthia said from behind him. She was leaning her back on his, making the clone turn with a growl, only to have her swing behind him once again by hooking her left hand into his. The clone saw this so he pinned her hand onto his body and then tried to push her in front but she did not budge an inch.

"Oh, so forceful. You're the kind of friend to take charge huh? I'm the kind that does anything to get her way," she said with a laugh before hitting his right hand acupuncture point. The clone was shocked to find his right arm swinging helplessly on his side. He then turned to her and tried to get hold of her only for her to hit his acupuncture point and his left hand became just as useless. The clone roared defiantly and pounced on her, his teeth bared, aiming for her neck.

But, Cynthia used his head to lift her body to vault over him before her left hand hit his acupuncture points and the clone fell on the ground, helplessly. He could not even move, only his eyes could move.

"C'mon, best friend, we have work to do," she said and was about to go and pick him up when she saw a pod with a one armed human inside. "Roy Harper, 1.0." She went in front of the pod and touched it. "I would have taken you instead but the clone's mind is more susceptible. But, your agony will be over." She turned to the panel controlling his cryogenic pod and punched it, making the pod hiss open.

"C'mon best friend, we have overstayed our welcome here," Cynthia said as she picked the clone up and put him on her shoulders. "Alright, let me show you just how awesome your friend is." She looked at the ceiling far above them before she crouched and with a small exhale, jumped towards it.

"Null first first form, Void Rupture!" she said as he right hand fist glowed black. When she punched the floor, it was like thousands of tonnes of TNT exploded. Hundreds of thousands tonnes of rock were obliterated in a second, leaving behind a wide hole in the middle of DC. Cynthia, with Match (the clone) continued upwards unobstructed till they cleared out of the hole, landing gently on the ground. She looked down at the almost bottomless pit and saw Roy Harper looking up with wide open eyes. She could only imagine what was going on in his mind. She could also only imagine the chaos the Justice League and the Light would go through because of her actions.

Roy Harper was been kept hidden from the Justice League because they had already made a clone of him and he had been active for years, giving them juicy Justice League secrets Over Queen's big mouth could not hold on. They had also lost Match, an important piece to fighting Superman now that Superboy would not be as strong as the Kryptonian!

'Spread chaos on both sides and make sure they do target me,' she thought before she disappeared with Match.
