[Margaret's Perspective]
Elizabeth's tears soaked my clothes, and I gently stroked her hair with a pang of heartache, silently praying to the Moon Goddess.
A few minutes later, a Lycan carrying a refrigerated briefcase hurried over. He first nodded to Donald and me and then pushed open the door and went straight in. I knew he was Benjamin's lead assistant in the lab.
"It's going to be alright, the Moon Goddess will bless Anthony," I murmured softly, as if to comfort Elizabeth, and also to bolster my own confidence.
Time quickly passed, and 10 minutes later, Benjamin still hadn't emerged from the room, but we were joined by a few others.
Seeing Frantz push Armstrong slowly toward us, Elizabeth and I unconsciously frowned. I had no desire to speak with Frantz or Nora, so I pretended not to see them and edged closer to Donald.
