Chapter 12

The fashion designer took the measurements of Xaviera. In no time, she was done.

"I'm done. Thanks for cooperating with me. Bye, and I'd be present to witness you both take your wedding vows." She told them both. She left the room, leaving Sandro and Xaviera alone; together.

"We are left here, you know." Sandro told her, as he walked closer to Xaviera.

He caressed her cheeks with his thumb, causing her to whimper.

"I think I'd leave now." Xaviera said shyly.

"Stay, we can romance a little. You know, when you sat on my laps in the jacuzzi, I felt nothing because you were tasteless. Violeta is way sexier than you. You have pretty wide curves, but they are just for nothing, they are useless. Kissing you would be... Yuck! I'd never do that." He spat arrogantly.

"Thank you." She mumbled.

"Yeah. You have a pretty brown skin, but all is just waste. You should be an escort on the street. But here you are, wasting your beauty." He added with a smirk.

"I'd never do something like that. I'm not ready for sex, and I never would."

"You are tryna tell me you are virgin?"

"Yes, I'm."

"Save that! God knows how many men have tasted you. Those local boys back at the countryside, I guess all of them know how you taste. Just shut it, 'cause I ain't believing that you have never been laid." He scoffed.

"Okay. I see no sense in proving myself to you. You can think whatever you like." Xaviera said as she made her way towards the door. Sandro walked quickly to her, preventing her from leaving the room.

He pulled her back into the room.

"You dare not talk to me like that ever again, okay?"

"Okay." She mumbled, as she watched a different direction. Sandro's phone beeped, as he removed it from his pocket to answer.

"It's my darling! You'd like to hear her scintillating voice." Sandro said as he put the call on speaker.

"Hun! I'm so worried!! I haven't heard from you since long." Violeta exclaimed.

"No babe! I'm alright. I couldn't get to call you because I'm stuck with some stupid wedding arrangements. You know I'm marrying that local girl in a few days time." He said as Xaviera looked at him in disbelief, with a hint of embarrassment on her face.

"Where's she now? I hope she ain't anywhere closed to you?!" Violeta yelled.

"She's here. But I'm not doing anything with her. Why would I touch her when I have you?"

"Good!" Violeta uttered.

"But I'm sorry, I had a shower with her. But I did it because I knew I'd hurt her."

"No way! I forgive you. But don't ever do it again."

"I promise!"

"Give her the phone, I'd like to knock some sense into her head."

Sandra sent the phone forward, as it was near Xaviera's ear.

"She's listening hun!" Sandro said to the phone.

"Yeah! So you are Xaviera, I guess. The local bitch that is marrying my guy. Huh? So now I'd like to make it clear to you that, even though you are gonna be married to him, you'd still be the ordinary person you have always been. Whatever that happens, Sandro would be mine and only mine." She spat.

"Oh okay, I see. You are threatening me, right? I get it. I don't want to be closed to your boyfriend in any way. I'm only marrying him because I want to please my mom, and her best friend, grandma Rosetta. I'm not marrying Alessandro because I want to. So you can keep him." Xaviera said meekly. You might think she actually sounded very rude, but, she played it cool, as it fitted her stature.

"Heehee, Sandro, your bitch has a voice!" Violeta laughed.

"Exactly! She doesn't know how stupid she sounded." Sandro joined as they both mocked Xaviera.

"Hey babe, I have to go. I have some shopping to do. I'd be attending your wedding, you know. I want to admire you as you take your vows. You're definitely gonna look good. Even though I wished I were in her place, imma let it slide because marrying her means nothing to you." She said as they bid their byes, and she hung up.
