A World of Reincarnators

Mizuki was an otherworldly beauty in her first world. Born as an albino, having the best grades in class while taking interest in technological advancement and music in her free time. Her parents who had died a year after her birth left her a large inheritance. Her aunt has tried to kill her for her money ever since it was decided that all the inheritance would go to her. 'Human greed is a vile thing.' Mizuki was not stupid by any means. The moment she realized her life was being targeted she left to live alone. The inheritance would let her live nicely until the age of 40 at the least but she was not content with that and started to do work in the stock market. Mizuki was now living in a moderately sized apartment near her school. She had multiple bodyguards that were receiving quite the large salary so she was not afraid of losing her life before even getting married.... But.. "Human greed really is a vile thing. Is it not?" Now in another world where power decides everything human greed is not the biggest problem she will face. But bare in mind reader. Reincarnation is not that uncommon. (art ain't mine)

More Training...

[Hey hey, quick update: workin on a mass realease of like 10 or so chapters for christmas so they might come out slower than usual, just a heads up. Enjoy.]

"...And That. Is how you make Linnu Ssheilings."

"Great. Mitsuna you saw uncle Chef cook now so come on. Time to train."

Mitsuna nodded her head as she was pulled by her mother.

"I wonder how the little miss is so calm even when being pulled towards something like hell."

"The training isn't that bad. Ary hasn't even started seriously training her. Besides, she got herself stuck in a fridge, so she needs to take it slower now."

"Fair point."

"Start serving Jameson if you would, I have some paperwork."

"You always have paperwork."

"Fair point."

With Midithyr and Chef parting after a few remarks, Jameson sat there listening.

...

"Come on honey! You got this!"

With her mother cheering her on, Mitsuna was trying to hit the target in front of her.

"Push! Push!"

'I'm not giving birth mother.'

Mitsuna thought as she concentrated even harder.

The Ice needle in her hand floated steadily.

Aiming at the target with one hand, Mitsuna made a finger gun and had the needle float right next to her index finger.

She then pressed down with her thumb.

The needle flew forward fast, but in the end, still missed.

'It doesn't have any trajectory and with mother not allowing me to use the cylinder method... this really sucks.'

"Almost there, honey! Try again!"

Making another needle in a few seconds, Mitsuna realized her casting speed had increased.

Aiming the same way she did before, right when she was about to fire, a notification sprang up.

Lowering her hand, she read it carefully. What her mother taught her was that the system holds important information and you need to check it regularly in case of silent notifications, although that was all she stated on the matter as she refused to elaborate.

[Gained Skill: [Aim]]

[Aim - By focusing on hitting items from a distance, your skill in ranged weaponry increases.

(Passive)

(Increase Perception) (Increase Sight Range)]

'Oh. This is helpful.'

Aiming her hand up again, Mitsuna pressed her thumb down.

The Ice needle did not hit its target.

'I can't hit it without any special way of launching it. Right now all I can do is release a small explosion behind it and wait for the best.'

"Don't worry pumpkin. That one was a lot closer than the rest. It was a good choice using the targets that are 10 meters away, you're growing so fast!"

Mitsuna's mother tried to lighten the mood, but she was too distracted to listen.

'Why do I even need to learn this? It's not like there is some war going on.'

With a pout, Mitsuna continued her training as she didn't want to get spanked again.

Her mother really liked discipline.

...

During the night, Mitsuna had trouble sleeping, her mother had started sleeping in her own room again since today which left Mitsuna with a lot of free time.

She was currently using it to think. What else?

'Uhhh. Ice needle, fly, hit target. Three easy steps. The first two I have mostly completed. Hmm...'

Making a needle of Ice, she started having it float. She hit it with her finger and it started spinning.

'The needle defies gravity, although I don't know how. If I can use that to my advantage it would be great but I haven't dealt with gravity a lot before.'

Mitsuna sighed.

'If only I could have a cylinder as long as... a long cylinder?'

Sitting up from her position, hair flew over her face.

Pushing it aside with a puff, Mitsuna took the needle spinning in the air and started tinkering.

'An actual cylinder would take too much time and mother won't let me anyway so what if I use something like a thread or rope?'

Slowly manifesting a small thread of mana at the tip of the needle, Mitsuna used all her focus to make the thread stretch and land on the pillow.

Letting the needle float, she imagined the thread shrinking extremely fast.

The needle followed the trajectory and hit the pillow dead centre.

'It... worked? It worked. It Worked! Hahaha Yeah!'

Mitsuna threw her arms in the air and yelled out loud (in her head).

Looking at the pillow closely, Mitsuna saw that it did minimal damage.

'It's fine, it's fine. I can change the shape and have it do more damage. Oh, if I make the thread spin by creating a sort of twine. And if I make the thread stay in place somehow, I can have the trajectory go however I want!'

Mitsuna had finally gotten into the zone.

Making another needle in her hand, she started carefully using her knowledge from her past life to create the most deadly of needles.

'Hehehehe.'

A burst of small laughter echoed in her mind as she stopped experimenting only after passing out.

...

"She should be up by now. Time to get to some more training."

Loudly opening the door, Aryamis expected her daughter to just like always, be sitting on her bed with a wondering expression.

Instead, she found her daughter sleeping on the floor with different ice needles and threads surrounding her.

The room was torn to shreds, from the entire bed to the curtains to even scratches on the window and mirror. Some parts of the walls had dents and small gashes in them as well.

"Well isn't my little girl talented and ready to train?"

Aryamis picked Mitsuna up and woke her.

The moment Mitsuna opened her eyes, she saw the furious face of her mother staring back.

"Well, little lady. Since you're so ready to go and train by yourself, why don't we increase the training difficulty a little?"

'F*ck.'

...

"First try hitting that target 40 meters away from here. Then we play a game of 'tag' and after that, I'll teach you how to play hide and seek."

Starting with the target, Mitsuna was still tired and half awake.

'This sucks.'

Summoning an ice needle within seconds, she manifested a twined thread that shot out and hit the target. Doing the same motion she did yesterday, Mitsuna made a finger gun and pressed down with her thumb.

The needle launched forwards and hit the target straight in the middle, with the extra spin on the needle that the twine created after the needle passed it, the damage was pretty good as it left a scar on the target.

"... Isn't that just a waste of mana?" Mitsuna's mother asked, sounding slightly disappointed.

'Uhh. But I don't know of any other way.'

Pulling the still floating thread, Mitsuna retrieved her needle and thread together.

'Hah! Is what you thought I thought! I already saw the big mana usage when I was testing yesterday.'

"Hmm. Well fine. I'll give you 8/10. What if there were a wall?"

'Then I'd place a thread on the floor and wait for someone to trip over it, once they do I'll launch the needle and have it pierce their leg. But I won't do it here, I don't want to show mother up after all. '

"Anyway. Next is tag and Hide and Seek. Are you prepared?"

Mitsuna suddenly started to sweat.

'This can't go on much longer right?'

Currently, one week has passed since this thought.
