Backfired Plan
"Father! No, please, don't hurt him any more!"
A youth cried while bowing his body and touched the front foot of the dark shadow. A bleeding body laid on the floor with blood oozed from the unconscious person.
"Scram! You good for nothing son!"
A kick was landing on his abdomen. The youth bear the pain and still hugged the leg of the black shadow.
"I'm sorry father. I will be better. I promised I will be a good son." The kid sobbed and still did not let go of the man's leg.
The shadow became angrier and hit the youth incessantly.
"Do you want to follow this no body really bad? Then go and follow him to the hell!"

He awaken with sweats on his forehead.
"Did you dream of me?" A young man smirked while watching him.
The prince looked at the young man who sit on the bed foot. It was the kidnapper.
"Nothing of your business." The young prince answered quietly.
'Still the proud prince.' Rei smirked.
"Here's your food. I do not want you to die because of the hunger."
Rei put the tray of warm food on the bedside table.
"Eat."
After saying that, Rei leisurely walked away.
"Wait"
Rei looked back with hands on his back.
"What?" Rei showed no patience.
"Is there anyway for me to go back to the castle?"
Rei raised his well shaped eyebrows.
"Do you know where we are now?"
The prince shook his head.
"We are basically no where. There are only trees and wild animals surrounding this mansion. So you got the idea."
The prince showed a blank expression.
"Yes, we are far far away from your kingdom." The kidnapper showed his sly smile.
"So, you will kill me here?" The prince bowed his head.
"I could never go back to the kingdom, ever?"
The prince heard a laugh from the young man. Then footsteps echoed and long fingers lifted his chin.
"What do you think?"
The prince boldly stared at the villain light brown eyes. The staring contest ended when someone knocked on the door.
"Boss, there's urgent news!"
The villain sneered at the prince.
"You just wait."
Then he walked away and locked the door.
<Host, just a reminding, 5 days has passed since you started the task.>
<I know.. I know.. Just sit down and watch the show>
The system said no more and disappear.
Yes, it has been five days. He has secretly drugs the prince and made him unconscious. They then moved to this nowhere place.
'Why did I waste the time running around and not doing something to finish this task?' Rei grumbled to himself.
'Right. First thing's first. Let's answer to the King's inquiry."

"Your Majesty, someone that introduced as the kidnapper representative has come."
"Bring him to the hall."
"Understood, Your Majesty."
The guard then bent down and step backwards while still bowing his head.
All the ministers sat on each side of the assembly hall. On the higher chair in the middle of the hall, sat the King himself.
Not long after, a young man in black and sword strapped on his back walked leisurely and stood after the King. A black cloth covered his face.
"Show your respect!" the Ministers around looked angry.
Rei just shrugged his shoulder.
"Salute to the Majesty" Rei brought his hands together to salute the King.
The King looked at the young villain in front of him with incredulous face.
"State your demand"
The youngster crescent his eyes that showed that he was smiling. He handled the scroll to the King's eunuch to delivered it to the King.
"Then I will wait for His Majesty's answers"
As he was about to leave, the guards suddenly surrounded him. Rei only sighed.
"Your Majesty, I think you should be aware that the prince is currently on my hands. He could be killed within a day if I not returned."
Rei glanced at the serious looking King.
"I know. But you could be my hostage as well. Who cares about a mere prince? A villain boss as my hostage would be off better"
Rei looked furious. His eyes narrowed in anger. He understood that his martial technique was not a match with the dozens of equipped guards around him. Rei could only surrendered while cursing in his heart.
'What a ruthless King! Puih!'
