Chapter 2. Freedom, Atlantia and West

Ekon's POV

I had to travel a long way to get to the South Eastern Pack. It was a long way from my old home. As I traveled in wolf form through the forest I noticed I was somehow getting larger and larger, taller and taller I wondered what was going on. I stoppdd to see I was no longer in a wolf form.

I was in a Giants form. I looked to see my arms were of trees and moss. My legs were long. And I was tall. I was confused. I didn't expect to be a Giant as well as a Wolf . What next a Vampire. I was as taller than trees and mountains. I thought of my wolfself. My bones started to crack again. I had finally become wolf.

As I ran and ran I became closer to the Freedom Pack. Freedom Packs Alpha was okay. I had never met him or his mate. I didn't really care. I was cold and heartless toward people. I entered Freedom Pack territory. I ran through that. I didn't think much of Giants because I thought there were only Werewolves, Vampires and witches.

I thought Giants didn't exist as they were going extinct. I must have been the last one or something. Today I was going to get through three packs and then tomorrow I was going to camp and then go to South Eastern Pack.

Jason's POV

"why did you banish him?" my Beta asked. "because he is of no use to me and I can't have a threat like him in my way." I declared. "you shouldn't have banished him Alpha." John said. John is my Beta. "why not?" I asked. "Without him your nothing." John said. I was angry that he called me nothing. "what do you mean I'm nothing without him? I asked.

Was this really happening. Did I really make a bad decision." he's the one that makes your Pack strong. He's 1 year older than you and yet you disrespect him just because your Alpha. I'm gonna admit this because Ekon is stronger than you." John said. Why was Ekon so important. "ugh whatever." I said. "oh before I go I'm just gonna say, Ekon would've made a better Alpha than you." he said, walking out the door. Am I really this dumb. I couldn't think for myself.

Ekon's POV

I reached Atlantia from Freedom. I was on the outskirts out Atlantia. I heard someone crying. I looked to see a human girl crying like she had lost her mother. I walked straight past her. I wanted to help her but I couldn't, I had to got to the entrance of Atlantia.

Eventually I made it. I shifted into huamn form and entered the city. (when people shift and shift back into human they keep their clothes). I went in to get myself some supplies. After getting supplies I went to my friends house. I had friends in other Packs. I knew where my friends lived. I knew they flatted together. I guess a lot can change in a few years.

I was never nervous. I didn't really feel emotion. I only felt anger. I reached my friends house and knocked on the door.

Someone opened the door. "Ekon my dear, what are you doing here?" the woman asked. "it's so good to see you again Linda." I said. "come in Ekon and don't stay out here in the cold for too long." Linda said. Linda was a nice person.

Okay everyone we have a guest." Linda said. I came around the corner. My friend was quite rich and well known, the family lived high up in his Pack. "Ekon!" I heard someone shouted happily. "Sarah you've grown up." I said kneeling down giving her a hug. I had to lean or kneel because I was too tall. She was about 8 now. "how are you Ekon?" she asked. "I've been better." I said sounding sad. "Ekon what is the matter?" Linda asked. "there is a reson I am here." I said. I may be a huge lier but now I had to tell the truth. "well-" I started.

"let's gather everyone around." Linda said. Linda called everyone down to the lounge. After everyone got there we all sat down. "now Ekon what your reason for being in the Atlantia Pack?" Linda asked. "well you see." I started. "I got banished from my Pack." I said. "was it by the Alpha or someone else?" Sarah asked. " Sarah was smart for her age." yes it was by the Alpha, it was during school as well." I told them." who is the Alpha?" Matthew asked. "Jason Woods." I replied. "argghh that stupid boy, and yes he's dumb because he's only young. But still how did you even get banished?" Matthew asked. After explaining what happened he started laughing.

"so he banished you because you hurt him and you threatened him, and because he didn't want a bad reputation." Matthew said. "yes basically. He didn't realise I was the one that made his pack stronger.

2 weeks later I said my goodbyes and headed to West. West was a string Pack. I had no friends there. I went there to get supplies and meet with the Alpha and that was it. I got to West Pack. It was called west because it was west of the temple. The Temple was another to explain later. What I can say about the temple is that its the source of our existence. If someone destoeys it the supernatural race will eventually die out.

I shifted back into human. I walked past many people. This Pack was bigger than Atlantia. People lowered their heads as I walked past them. I wondered what was going on. I walked up to someone. "excuse me?" I asked. "oh hi sir." the woman said lowering her head. Why was this happening. This never happened in Atlantia.

"this is what I wanted to talk to you about. Why is everyone lowering their head at me as I walk past?" I asked. She looked shocked. Something was going on. The woman was an elderly lady. That's why I asked her. "don't you know, your the chosen one." she said. She loweres her head walked off. This was confusing. I had to know what going on. West Pack was weird. But still I had to know, I must know.
