Astonishment

Being worried about Camy, everyone visited the royal infirmary. The atmosphere was sad and depressing. They all spent some time with Camy, and then Mr. and Mrs. Taylor returned to their mansion, but Rune, Resel, and Ceil stayed back to take care of Camy.

After some time, they all met Vladis in the corridor. He was also worried as hell about her and wanted to spare some time for her even though he was hell busy. They all were glum about the situation. With Vladis, one charming man was wearing a brown trench coat and brown leather pants and long leather shoes. Arthur was looking handsome, and with his king-like presence, it could be felt even from a distance.

Ceil was shocked seeing him there but soon recovered. Arthur was pleased to see that reaction but didn't show it on his face. They came to where they were sitting. Vladis, Rune, and Resel went inside the room while Ceil remained seated there only. She didn't go inside because she knows that if she goes then she will burst into tears, and Camy never liked to see her crying. After some time, Vladis and Rune came out after Arthur. Arthur asked formally, "What's the condition?"

"She is out of danger, but she is in a deep state of coma, and there is still no chance of her waking up."

"Okay. Take care of her and let me know if you need any help". Though Arthur said this to show his sincerity but his main reason was to curry in favor of Rune. He was not the one to show his kindness and sincerity to anyone until and unless he had a reason for it.

Rune then went inside, and Vladis and Arthur stayed out. Then Vladis said, "I asked Lyn to specially take care of her not to use her as an experimental object for any kind of research."

"He won't."

Though he wanted to ask Arthur about his surety since he is the Lord, he remained shut. He said, "my lord," and then bowed and went inside.

All this while Ceil couldn't understand why they were treating this strange man formally, but when she heard him saying, my Lord. Her eyes widened on seeing that the strange man whom Vladis and Rune were treating so formally was none other than Lord Arthur. She was shocked, but when she recalled her treatment to him, she was embarrassed. Her cheeks turned a little red, and then she just bowed her head to avoid any contact and tried to lessen her presence.

She was worried about Camy when she felt a presence beside her. She looked up and found Arthur looking at her. She smiled and tried to ignore him.

"Aren't you embarrassed by the way you treated me?" he asked amusedly.

She was embarrassed, but instead of trying to avoid she proudly confronted him, "No."

"Oh really. Don't you know that you can be punished for this treatment?"

"So what" though she knew the consequences, but she couldn't bow down to him and show her embarrassing side.

"I can make you reside in the dungeon of the royal palace if I want to for your behavior right now."

She widened her eyes at this threat and was rendered speechless. Arthur was pleased to see this reaction and was enjoying it. To see more, he then said, "you can avoid this situation by," he then moved close to her and whispered, "..by going out with me."

She felt hot, and her cheeks turned red, and she felt she couldn't breathe with this proximity. She was saved from this situation when Vladis and Rune came out, while Resel stayed with Camy. Arthur moved back, and with all seriousness, he asked all of them to come to his study room.
