Mansion

It has been a few days since Erin's Grandma passing.

"..."

Erin has become more quieter since that day. Erin takes some days off from school because of Erin's Grandma passing.

"*sigh*....(Mom and Dad is still busy, and they seems like how they are. I feel like I'm the only one who got affected emotionally by Grandma's passing...)"

*sob*

Tears starts to running down Erin's face.

"*sob* *sob* Why... Why did Grandma had to go..... *sob*.....I miss her already...."

Erin is crying at the corner of her room. Lily is there as well, standing in front of her.

"*sob* Lily... Are you sad as well? *sob*"

"..."

"...Seems like we're the only one who is sad about Grandma's passing...."

"..."

"*sob* What am I saying.. I'm sure Mom, and Dad are sad... *sob* other uncles as well..."

"..."

".....*sob*.....Thank you Lily... For being with me..."

Erin stands up, and hold Lily's hand.

"Thank you, Lily! I feel much more better!"

"..."

"Oh yeah! Grandma's lawyer gave me Grandma's house keys! Let's go there!"

"..."

Erin grab her phone, and call her personal driver. While Lily stood there, silently.

A couple hours go by, and they finally arrive at Erin's Grandma's house.

"Thank you for driving us here, Mr. Wilson!"

"Of course, Lady Erin. And... Are you sure about this?"

"Hm?"

"You said you will stay here for a night.. Have you told your parents yet?"

"Oh.. I haven't hehe~ Can you tell them for me~?"

"*sigh*...Lady Erin...."

"Hehe~ Well then! See you tomorrow!!!"

"L-Lady Erin!"

Erin rushed to the front door of the house.

"(This house is so big.. Even after many visits, it still kind feels unfamiliar for some reason. Well, it is a Mansion. So it is enormous.)"

Erin reach to her pocket to grab the Mansion keys.

"Well...We have many keys here... Which one is the Mansion key again?"

There are so many keys, from big to small, and have many different colors as well. Suddenly Erin remember something that her Grandma tells her.

"(Remember Erin.. It has yellow color, and has a diamond head on it.)"

".....(Yellow and Diamond head.... Hmm..) Oh! Found it!"

Erin pull out the key, and try it to the door.

*Click*

"The door seems to have unlocked! Let's go in, Lily!"

"..."

Erin started to run inside, and a feeling of nostalgia started to fill her emotions.

"Huff- Ahhh~! The smell of the mansion... So nostalgic!! Did you feel it too, Lily?"

"..."

"Hehe, seems like you're swept away by the nostalgia as well! It does have been a long time since we come here.."

"..."

"Let's go explore!!"

Erin and Lily started to tour around the Mansion. And they stumble across the second floor hallway.

"....This is...Grandma's room..."

Erin feels a lot of emotions flowing while she is standing in front of Erin's Grandma's room.

"....."

"..."

"L-Let's go in.."

Erin's hand is trembling while reaching to the door knob.

*Click*

The door opened, and feels like as if the atmosphere changed drasticly. The room feels empty, and there's so many dusts flying.

"...T-this is....Grandma's room..."

"..."

"...(No! Don't cry! Don't cry!!)"

Erin is trying to fight back her emotions, but tears started to come out of her eyes.

"*sob*...Sorry...."

"..."

Lily just remains silent, and go inside the room. Erin is still outside the room, trying to get herself together.

"Huff... Okay..."

Erin takes a step inside the room. Lily is standing in the middle of the room, spacing out.

"Lily? *sniff* something wrong?"

"..."

Lily didn't respond, like usual.

"...?"

Erin is kinda confused, but she doesn't question Lily any further. Erin walk up to the big bed.

"This bed...."

The bed is big, and she still remember how she would sleep there whenever she come to have a sleepover.

"(I will lay here, and Grandma will tell me a bunch of stories..)"

"..."

Erin throw herself to the bed, and a bunch of dust are flying.

"Hm... Do you remember Lily... How we would sleep here whenever we come for a sleepover, and Grandma will always tell us many interesting stories.."

"..."

"..hehe...I miss those times..."

"..."

"Hey Lily, come here. It's comfy hehe.."

Lily walk towards the bed, and sit on the bed.

"It's comfy right?... Haaah~ We will sleep here tonight!"

"..."

"Don't worry about the dusts hehe~"

"..."

Erin and Lily talk about nostalgia the whole afternoon.

It's night. Erin and Lily already have dinner, and now they're hanging out in the living room playing a board game.

"*Yawn* Haaah~ I'll go to bed now... If you want to stay up longer go ahead.."

"..."

Erin started to walk upstairs, heading to her Grandma's bedroom. While Lily is still in the living room, sitting silently.

"..."

"....Hm...."

Erin wake up. The sky outside is still dark.

"...What time is it..."

Erin grab her phone.

"...Eleven? It's only have been two hours??"

Erin sits down, and starts to look around the room.

"....? Lily?"

Erin scan around the room, but she couldn't find where Lily is.

"...Did she sleep in the other room? I'll go check."

Erin stands up and trying to find her way using her phone's flashlight.

"(Where's the light switch again... Oh there!)"

Erin try to turn on the lights, but-

"...? Why is it not working? Did the lights go out?"

Erin try the light switch multiple times, but seems like the lights won't turn on.

"*sigh*...(Maybe the lights went out.. I'll just use my phone..)"

*Click*

Erin opens the door and starts to look into other rooms to find Lily.

"*sigh*...Where are you.."

Erin has searched the whole floors but can't find where Lily is. Erin have thought of scream Lily's name, but she is too scared.

"Ughh.. S-Should I shout her name..."

Her heartbeat starts to beat faster.

"...I should.."

Erin steadies herself, and -

"LILY! WHERE ARE YOU!!"

Erin's voice is echoing.

"Where is she... HEY LILY! PLEASE COME OUT! I-I...m scared..."

And then-

*ZAP*

"EEEK!"

Erin is surprised by the sudden thunder voice.

"..Oh..It's just thunder... God..."

*Bang*

"Huh?! L-Lily?"

Erin heard a sudden sound, and she is sure that wasn't a thunder sound.

"Li-Lily.. come out! It's not funny!"

There's a long silence... And then-

*BANG*

"Eek!"

The same sound, but it's louder this time. Erin is scared.

"P-please... Lily..."

Erin is trying to courage herself, and trying to get herself together.

"Huff.. Okay.. It's okay Erin... Let's go see where is that sound is coming from.."

*Bang* *rumble*

"(The sounds is not stopping.... Is there a robbery..?)"

Erin is trying to be brave, and walked towards where the sounds are coming from. She hears the rumble sounds more and more. The sounds become more clearer, and she find something unexpected.

"...Wait..."

There's a trap door behind the stair.

"...When..."

"...Did this mansion has a basement?"
