A reunion

["Silly child haven't you already learnt from those books in the mausoleum that the ancestor of the Ashton family, your maternal side, were Dragons?"]

"B-but isn't it impossible for a dragon to live amongst humans and even have descendants? We are physically and mentally too different to be even compatible. So I thought they were just humans with strength comparable to that of a dragon. Then was your husband a human or a dragon."

The playful expression on the woman's face was replaced with extreme coldness and even a little guilt mixed with hatred.

To change the sudden oppressive atmosphere, Adriana shifted the topic back to her, " Ahhh... do you know where this is? What happened to me and are the things being shown on the screen really my memories? "

["Hmm... this is the space inside the void stone you obtained after escaping from the traps in the mausoleum. This stone along with the ring you got from your uncle, as seen from your memories helped you turn back time. The after effects of your actions as you can see are, being trapped inside this space. It seemed like your powers were sealed at this point of the timeline. Your soul and soulforce is several folds stronger compared to the one in your present body, so the expected outcome was your soul being torn apart, since perfect fusion of a weak one with a strong one at a short time is not possible without a strong body and soul."]

Adriana looked carefully at her corporeal form and seeing that she seemed unharmed, she looked at the woman who claimed to be her ancestor with confusion.

Seeing the confusion and distrust in Adriana's eyes, the woman scoffed at her ignorance.

["Hahh!! Do you think you are completely unharmed? The only reason you are still alive is because of your friend and that precious little child of yours. Without them, don't think you would be so lucky to survive without being crippled for life."]

Hearing that Adriana felt so ashamed and distressed over the fact that she troubled her friend and her daughter once again. The debts she had in her previous lifetime are yet to be repaid, now even more have been added on to it.

The woman looked at her expression and adviced her to leave the void as soon as possible if she didn't want to get herself trapped in the void. She further explained,

[" You've spent far too long in the void, it's about time you left. There are people waiting outside for you. How long are you going to make them wait for? I know what you're worried about, you can still enter this space and check your memories at a later time. It's not yet time for you to know certain matters. Take your time, you have 7 more years. Become strong by then, that's all I can say for now. My soul force is almost exhausted, so I'm going to rest. Don't wake me up for useless things. Now off you go"]

Pshooo.... tuk... Adriana was thrown out of the space and she regained consciousness and slowly gained control of her body. She felt a small weight on top of her body. She slowly opened her eyes only to see a red eyed doll looking lovingly at her.

The little doll looked at her and called her Mommy. Only then did she realise that her child was only a baby in this timeline, so she's still weak. Adriana became anxious that since the child is too close to her, she might accidentally hurt the child.

Just as she used to do, she immediately called Emma and asked her to take the child away. Hearing their mistress's voice the three women immediately surrounded the bed and poured out their worries at her. At the same time, Emma took the child into her arms, but instead of leaving for Annalise's room she looked at the startled and anxious woman,

" My Duchess, the young lady spoke for the first time, don't you want to hear her, and I know you are scared that you might accidentally hurt her. How long are you going to run from this matter? W-why don't you try holding her, y-you love her so much that you can't bear to hurt her. B-but avoiding this matter will only h-hurt both of you. I-I'm getting old and I don't know how long I'll live, so I-I want to see you live happily like you used to without any-."

Emma couldn't continue her words and burst into tears. Seeing this, Clara the crybaby immediately started bawling her eyes out. The sad atmosphere was immediately broken by Clara's cry. It was too comedic, that the others immediately started laughing.

The scene became peaceful and harmonious. They looked like a big happy family. The ignored and forgotten Doctor, felt lonely for the first time. 'Family huh... I'm lonely uwahh...poor me'

"Ughh.. groan... Hey! Didn't I say I wanted to sleep what's with all the fuss?" Elaine grumbled while she getting off the bed while her whole body was trembling.
