Birth After Death

I had always lived quite a 'lonely' life, my father, If I can even call him that, never bothered to look after me, my mom was long dead. She died giving birth to me and I never could quite make many freinds well my teachers would like to suggest it's due to my rotten personality but.. I beg to differ I'm just simply better than people my age I always have been and I always will be , manifest destiny, the world was my right and no one could take that away from me was my moto and ever since I could remember I done whatever I could to get ahead of my peers.

Looking at myself in the mirror of my small but cosy apartment bedroom I see my lean muscles my blonde messy hair and my sharp features, man I look good.

I had built my life by myself from the ground up, this very apartment I had bought with my own money from years of peddeling, stealing and scamming.

I begin to stretch, it's my morning routine after all first I start with my ankles and make my way up my body eventually reaching my shoulders I then make my way to the shower feeling the cold water hit my skin I make sure to thoroughly clean myself not leaving an inch of skin not scrubbed I make my way back to my bedroom and open my wardrobe

I reach in and put on my navy blue suit perfectly Taylored towards my body in quick succession I put on my blood red tie.

Again looking in the mirror as I adjust it I couldn't help but chuckle I look exactly like Dio from part one of that silly cartoon called Jojo's I've always liked those silly things though I kept it a secret.

I reach towards my bed side table and put on my fake Rolex, if anyone asks it was real though, it fitting perfectly around my wrist.

Anyways enough of this monolouging it was time to go Win the day! I step out my apartment and make my way out of the building the stench of modern day London invading my nose.

It smelt like smoke and shit.

I look left, then right then left again before crossing the busy road outside of my apartment complex I didn't want to lose my life over something as silly as not looking when I cross.

I make my way across the road looking down at my watch I look back up and-

"Where am I?"

A deep booming laugh echoes around me, my surroundings appear to be just plain white nothingness it went on for what seems to be infinity I assume.

"Who are you?"

I ask, I hope this isn't any sort of after life because if it is I'm not expecting to go to heaven that's for sure.

The voice from earlier clears its throat

"MY CHILD I AM DRACULA THE GOD OF VAMPIRES ACCROSS ALL REALITIES I HAVE BEEN WATCHING YOU I CHOOSE YOU TO BE MY CHAMPION."

A feeling of anxiousness over comes me a lump forms in my throat I could put on a tough facade all I wanted but the thought of a real life vampire made me want to cry, the thought of getting on my knees and grovelling crossed my mind if this was really a 'vampire' he could die any second with no trace of life left of me I've seen all the movies and to add to that this was supposedly the Dracula himself.

Dracula: "DONT BE SCARED MY CHILD I UNDERSTAND VAMPIRES ARE SEEN AS NOTHING BUT A MYTH IN YOUR WOLRD BUT TRUST ME WE ARE VERY MUCH REAL."

The voice claiming to be Dracula says with amusement

I stutter

". I-I I'm going to be your champion wha- what does that mean for me?"

"You will be reincarnated with your memories of your past life still intact you will have the same appearance, same intellect, same thoughts, everything but I shall bless you with powers beyond your wildest imagination now go forth my child may you and your decsendents take what is rightfully yours suck the very eccentric of this world dry take what is anything and everything it is your destiny~!"

My eyes burst open, what's sort of weird dream was that oh well I guess it's time I acctually get dressed then I attempt to get up but it appears my body dousnt want to listen to me, suddenly I can hear the sound of wailing and like a domino effect I am surrounded by what sounds like various baby's

At least I get a head start I suppose but the Voice said I will be blessed with powers beyond my imagination I don't think talking to bats is exactly beyond my imagination but ok… beggars can't be choosers but what the fuck.

What had really worried me though was the fact that this hadn't shocked me if I told anyone back home about this happening I would be deemed schizo.

I had watched Naruto in my past life and shit hits the fan pretty quickly I don't really care about any of that will of fire shit though I just need to survive and gain power, easier said than done.

The plan was to take any knowledge I could from the leaf and leave, I never really trained my body in my past life so this is all new to me and the guidance from the ninja academy would be very much needed…
