On his way back from the boys' cabin, his mind was filled with the thoughts of Cielle. Thoughts about how she was meant to die. Something about that mere thought upset him so much to the point that he couldn't think straight.
He knows all the people in this fucking kingdom were his enemies and that he was bound to ruin them but something about Cielle hit differently. Her kind touch and bright eyes amused him more than he realized.
It all started the day that she healed him. Her healing touch had made something inside him stir and come to life. After that, every time she was near a strange sensation buzzed from his heart. Was it magic? He didn't know.
As Alastor navigated through the dimly lit corridors of the palace, he finally approached his chamber.
