"Ella, my little princess, do you remember how annoying to used to be?" She laughed. Ella laughed through the tears. "You used to tell Xena and I we were bad elder sisters because we would get married and leave you, do you remember that?" asked Iris and Ella nodded. "guess what pumpkin, I didn't leave you behind, welcome home." She lifted the sash and placed it on Ella's shoulder. By this point no one could stop the tears that fell from those close to the two families. They hugged and she did not open, nor say anything about the other gifts. The soldier who had escorted Ella and Alice home the other week stood forward and picked up the gifts placing them in a crate.
