Saved by Logus

Tobin felt relieved when he heard what the servant came to report. It least it would be an avenue for this ritual going on now to stop. He didn't care what the problem was as long as it would stop what was happening now..

He looked at Elder Zeko who looked very displeased with the information he came with.

"Cant you see we are carrying out a ritual in the shrine. How dare you interrupt it? Elder Zeko challenged him looking at the servant with anger in his eyes. It felt like he was about to transfer aggression on the servant for the offense of Tobin

"I am very sorry sir, we have people from Logus here " the servant replied with a shaky voice

Tobin quickly noticed the look of worry on the face of Elder Zeko and that of Madam Tochi. Even when they tried to hide it.

Without saying another word, he left the shrine immediately heading to the main mansion. Madam Tochi looked set to continue with the ritual befor she leaves.

"Whatever Logus means right now they are life savers " Tobin reasoned to himself

"Dont even try it, I have said it that she will not go through the test again " Tobin tackled her immediately he saw her lifting the sword again.

"Why is this woman so stubborn? even Elder Zeko had left when he heard the message but it doesn't seem to border her " Tobin questioned in his mind.

She quietlt dropped the sword at a corner of the shrine and went outside too. But not without looking at Naomi with disgust in her eyes. Tobin was sure the trouble between them will not be over for a very long time.

"Thank you" Naomi whispered to Tobin who simply smiled. She was looking weak and pale and it even felt like she was going to fall any moment from now.

"Open the door" he yelled at the servants as he walks Naomi back to the main mansion . Seeing Naomi in that state they dint border to question him as they knew she would be unable to pass through the door. They walked in silence with a lot going through their minds. For Tobin he wondered what would be more important right now than whatever they were doing to hee that Elder Zeko had to leave. He hoped it would be nothing that will involve him.

For Naomi she was thinking of what just happened. She has just been accused of manipulating Harold and she even had to go through he test to ascertain if she was really at fault. But then she knew very well she didn't have a hand in his change of behavior. What happened in the shrine kept coming back to her. Harold have change too much for people not to suspect her. Even if she likes the change, she was curious as to how he came about this change. It was just too much and too sudden.

As they got to the main mansion, Tobin noticed Grace and Calvin running towards them with worried look on their faces. More worried was Grace who was not sure if her Madam was going to survive the test in the shrine.

"My lady are you okay? Grace asked looking at Naomi from some distance. It was obvious she was scared of coming too close because of Tobin. She didn't know how he would react.

"Take her to her room and allow her rest. No one should disturb her " Tobin ordered as he handed her over to Grace who looked cheerful now.

Just as he was handing her over to Grace, he noticed Naomi held him tightly on the wrist asif she was not ready to let go.

"What is wrong? Tobin asked with concern in his voice.

"Why have you changed so much? "Naomi asked looking at Tobin seriously. Although she was a little shaky from her experience in the shrine, the urge to know this answer for herself was just too much.

"My Lady you need to rest, there is no harm if I decide to start treating you like you deserve or do you prefer the old me? Tobin asked with an evil smile on his face knowing she will be scared to question him further. She would definitely not want the old him.

"Thank you but this conversation is not over " She said letting go of his hand as she went with Grace. He looked at her with pity in his eyes.. If only she knew how women are treated in his world.

"Calvin what do women really want " Tobin asked Calvin who wasn't expecting that question.

"My Lord I really don't understand " Calvin replied scratching his head.

"First of all she was not happy with way She was being treated by the old Harold. Now I am treating her well and she wants to know why? Strange set of people " Tobin concluded in his head without explaining to Calvin.

"My Lord, people from Logus are here " Calvin informed him.

It was the second time he was hearing that message but for the first time he became worried because he could detect fear from the voice of Calvin.
