9/14 3:57 (Summer, Day)

The Party that she now knew as "The Outrejects", an E-Ranked Party because of politics even if all three members were equivalent, more or less, to a D-Class one, guided her back to the city they were based out on while making small talk.

"And so, because my father and the Guild Master of this city don't get along we find ourselves, well in situation like this one."

"I see. Wasn't your father a Guild Master himself?"

"Yeah, but father is the Guild Master of the Capital and the one in this city was in competition with him for the position, only to lose, quite badly at that. So once I became an Adventurer in his city, well… let's just say, it was a chance for him to mess with my father, even if only indirectly."

"Why did you choose to work for him, then?"

"It was the only place where my achievement would not be thought of as nepotism. Either directly from my father or indirectly from people wanting to please my father."

"I see. Makes sense."

At the aknowledgement, Sabel beamed at the "Dhampir" walking near her, a composed expression on this second one's face, while Jay and Hale silently followed behind, an amused expression on the last one's face.

They were fast approching the gate for the walls around their city of residence.

"Ehi, Sabel. Who is the gate?" Once at the gate, one of the guards asked her, his tone suspicious as his hands neared the trigger to allarm for an emergency.

He was very experienced when it comes to discern the threat level of other People and in this case his Skill caused this reaction.

Said Skill was called "Threat Evaluation", a Unique Skill he awakened when he was young, and it had two functions.

One was the ability to misure the power of a Person or Monster compared to his own based on their Souls, things that only misured precisely only up to a certain point.

Even if her power was vastly greater than his own, this was not the reason for this hostile reaction.

The reason was the second effect of his Unique Skill that misured someone's willingness to hurt other people, which in her case was too great for him to allow her within the city without at least an explanation.

Said willingness was not caused by her reincarnation as a Lunarian, but was a natural aspect of her being, a deep aspect that survived unscathed her time from her birth, as a Ghoul and finally now as a Lunarian.

An aspect that caused her to gain the Innate Skill "Spirit Body" upon her birth purely for affinity and causing her sister to acquire "Blessing of the Spirits" as a consequence and a response of this fact.

A nature that was part of the reason behind her Unique Skill "Singularity".

A nature that was way too dangerous for him to ignore.

Sabel quickly interfered before anything… untoward was to happen.

"She has very important information to share and she is not going to start any fight."

"And I suppose the ones starting fights will end up dead, won't they?" The hostile response caused a snort to escape Luna before she attacked back.

"Oh, please. You are talking as if I will kill anyone that displeases me. I will just kill anyone who will get in my way without an important enough reason." Her response was even more hostile, however, considering how the one she was responding to was in her way at this point.

"Hoh? Are you threatening me?"

"Do you feel threatened then? In that case you don't have any reason to get in my way, don't you?"

The hostility between the two was quickly reaching its boiling point while two third of the "Outrejects" awkwardly observed the situation, trying to decide how and when to intervene in what would soon become an outright fight if they didn't intervene.

Jay intervened, speaking when he finally noticed they were still at the gate, taking his eyes from a notebook he was drawing in, confused by the loss .

"Why are we still here? Weren't the news we have urgent or something?"

This was the perfect opening for Sabel and Hale.

"Right, right. I'm sorry, Buld, but we need to enter urgently. Even if Luna is suspicious, it's too important."

"Ah yeah, now that I think about it, how is Cora doing?"

His tone softened a bit.

"He is doing better now. He should be fine."

This was the simple way to handle him, first lowering his guard with Jay then distracting him with something important while making sure that he knew she had important informations to share.

A necessary measure considering

Luna watched the interaction, a bored expression on her face, before she calmly walked past the Guard nearing the ability of a C-Class Adventurer.

He sent her a mean look before nodding to the Party and making a gesture to keep their eyes on her.

The Party moved to reach her before guiding her to the Guild, Sabel in the front with Luna starting to speak with this last one.

"I'm sorry about Buld, he is-"

"No need to worry. I know very well the effect a Unique Skill has on the psyche of a person."

"You seem to know a lot about them."

"Obviously, I studied them deeply considering how I had one since birth."

Based on her own feelings and the research of Edgar she learned at the mansion.

"However, isn't it different between someone born with one and someone Awakening one?"

"That is the common thought, but it is incorrect in the way you think about it. If someone Awakens an Unique Skill because of an Instability, they are twisted by it, sure. However, they are still People that know what being a Person meant when it comes to morals or similar things, being able to understand and being understood by other People when said Instability is not involved. If you are born with an Awakened Unique Skill, you understand no one. You are understood by no one. You innately think differently from every single being alive, even other People with Unique Skills."

This all was said calmly as if it reguarded someone else while Sabel watched her, worried for her.

"And what about you? You said it yourself that you were born with an Unique Skill, so does that mean…?"

"From what I could study about other People, I have naturally no reguard for other lifeform, I don't accept anone authority over me, I am incapable to share anything with other lifeforms and I was told that I'm incapable of expressing or feeling emotions in addition of being an egocentric narcisist omnicidal maniac."

"Someone called you that?!" Sabel exclaimed, offended for her sake.

She shrugged, indifferent, before continuing.

"Don't worry, I am not offended by the last words of people I have no interest in."

Said words were the dying words of her Half-Elf's parents in a tentative to hurt her.

Tentative that not only didn't work, but didn't even buy them any time at all before she indifferently ended their lifes.

Sabel continued to guide her to the Guild, an akward expression on her face at the casual confession of murder.

Once there, Hale advanced towards the receptionist, a grave expression on his handsome face.

"I'm sorry to disturb you, but our Party needs to urgently meet with the Guild Master."

"Hoh? I suppose that young lady matters reguarding your mission then." This last phrase was not a question, but the young Cleric nodded anyways in confirmation as she then continued. "Very well. However, he is busy at the moment so why don't you three take her to the recreational room until he is free?" She half-asked half-commanded him before he nodded, leading the young "Dhampir" there.

"I'm surprised that you are so accomodating." Sabel exclamined once there as Luna casually took some of the food offereded in the room.

"Oh, don't worry. I count this as a favor to all of you and the Guild Master of this City. And I expect this favor to be answered in the future."

This was not said as a threat, but as a simple fact.

A fact that all three of them, Jay comprised, understood that they better answer in a way that satisfies her or there would be conseguence.

Around half, if not three quarters, of an hour later, the Guild Master finally finished to being "busy".

"So, what exactly did you three wanted to tell me?"

The Guild Master, a 35 years old Human, told them as he entered before noticing the young lady in the room with them that was busy continuing to slowly savor various pastries on the table before her with a single one of them being shared with Sabel that was half eating it and half just watching her.

Said Guild Master, named Heldov, pegged her instantly as a noble lady from both her tastes geared towards sweets and the grace and beauty of every single one of her gestures, grace and beauty that were not being made on purpose but out of pure instinct yet precisely made and following one after another.

A wealth of experience and talent in both fighting and manners.

He carefully observed her even more, noting her facial traits, her skin tone, her red eyes, her slightly pointed ears and her fangs before reaching his own conclusion about the being before him.

While Vampires are treated even now as dangerous beings, being considered even as Monsters by most nations, Midrar comprised, Dhampir are instead considered as People, even if potentially dangerous ones.

Additionally while Elf don't like Half-Elfs, which the being before him probably is at least a descendent of one considering her ears, they are very popular when it comes to most other races for various reasons, so it wouldn't be strange for a Vampire to take in an Half-Elf as a lover or whatever they would be from which the Dhampir before him would be born.

This would also explain her movements and what she did at the moment of his entry, her eyes briefly scanning him before turning back to eating her sweets.

"So, could you tell me who she is and what did you want." The following was more an order than a question, order that roused Sabel for her distraction and Jay from his drawing.

Hale, the only one of the three paying attention, could only laugh awkwardly at that before starting to explain the situation.

"Luna found an anomalous Dungeon that we think is important to our Mission and that the Guild Master should know about it as soon as possible."

"Hoh? How anomalous are we talking about?"

Luna sighed before taking an empty page from Jay and quickly drawing it while speaking.

"Every single Undead there had the Skill "Undying Body" at D-Rank except the Boss that had it at C-Rank. The two Liches and the "Undead Abomination" that is the Boss had both "Curse-Attribute Magecraft" and "Formalcraft", with said Boss additionally having the ability to double the power of all Curses."

"I see. This is strange. Are you sure your drawing is accurate?"

"Yes, the Dungeon is incredibly and surprisingly direct and short. There are no traps nor any indirect method of damage. However the Liches will start to Cast Curses on you the moment you enter not their room, but the Dungeon and said Curses are bound to the Dungeon itself once landed. I would suggest testing it with a Party full of C-Class Adventurers, at least one of which is well-versed in the Holy-Attribute."

She took another sweet before continuing.

"I am certain that this Dungeon was heavily modified by a Person."

"Then why make it so direct?" It was a response made out of shock, a question she already thought about and which she already had an answer to.

"Because of a question of Balance. It's probably the reason it can be as hostile as it is."

He sat down, resting his head on his hands, as he thought about what to do and Luna enjoyed herself.

"The three of you, what do you think?"

Hale continued to speak as the official spokeperson of their Party when it comes to the Guild Members.

"She took us within it and we can confirm that she told the truth about the Dungeon."

"I see. Ahh, what am I going to do… Thank you for informing us. I will need to confirm this information before calling Headquarters. What is your name?"

"Luna. And don't bother trying to search me in a register, I shouldn't exist in any of them. I will rest in this city today and leave tommorrow at dawn. Sabel, you will accompany me around this city. Let's go." There were no more sweets and so the silver-haired one commanded, command that even if with a quick salute, she followed happily at the thought of spending more time with her.

Hale could only laught nervously at that.
