To the Capital (III)

He tried to attack me with one of his longs arms, I thought that would happen so I prepare and dodge it. Then I went to his body for a thrust, however the next arm caught me by surprise. It started to wrap around me and squeezed hard.

"Boy!" I heard someone screaming.

Are they worried for me? I must be looking pretty pathetic in this moment for acting in such way.

"Ahhh! Don't think so much of yourself!" I yelled touching it with my glove and producing the repulse effect, that seemed to cause so much pain that it let me go. After falling I rolled a bit and stood quickly backing up some distance.

That was close. I must stop showing off like some kind of superhero or I'll seriously won't be able to tell it again. Maybe I should take the time to plan things properly...

No, that's not my style. Now I'll try something new and reckless. Similar to the last time I approached towards the creature but it surprised me by taking a piece of concrete and throwing it in my direction. I hid behind the remains of a car, the boulder bounced on its ceiling landing on the floor. The impact made a cloud of dust, this could work in my favour.

Taking advantage of the low visibility I get close in zigzag movements using the destruction around me as cover to get on his side. When I was a few meters from him I run for it. In that instant he turned his arm to strike the floor where I was, I dodged it and jumped on it. This way I could climb until reaching his head.

I guess that having a massive body will make it hard to do some damage on his thick skin, so I'll better go directly for a critical hit where I can cause more pain.

I'm able to stick my sword with all the strength I have on one of his eyes. The scream he made flooded the zone and immediately started to shake throwing me away. My landing was cushioned by the branches of a nearby tree.

Wow, I didn't believe that would work. I feel great, it must be the adrenaline that makes me do all this crazy stuff.

The monster complained suffering and smashed everything close by. If it keeps on like this it would be easy for me to do a finishing blow. Strange enough the dinosaur calmed and stood still. Looked up slowly, crimson blood flows from its wound. I step back without knowing what to expect, then it came running fast to where I was.

Damn! I jumped to a side just a few centimetres from evading the rampage, which continued on for 3 houses with ease. If that hits me is instant death. How I keep getting on this type of situations?

I believe my cut has damaged its sight, though not enough for leaving him blind. If that's the case I won't be able to hide and attack him by surprise.

It seems I don't have much choice that using my new technique...

But before I could do it something fell in front of my feet, seconds later it created a faint wall of light.

What is this? I asked myself just when I noticed that the huge beast rammed once again onto me and ended up slamming the transparent barrier.

"Don't stay still! Help me finish it!" I heard a scream coming from a far away place, probably from the ceiling on one of the empty buildings.

This voice appears to ask my help, maybe it's the one who made the barrier? It's safe to trust him?

"Understood!" I answered without thinking too much about it, I'll regret it later if I'm wrong.

After saying that a lot of things came flying that buried on the beast's skin. Are this kunais? Certainty it looks like it.

This generated some kind of steps that share the same appearance of that barrier only more tiny and of various colours, they headed to the creature's head. I think I got it, I know what he's telling me.

I climbed them as fast as I can. The moment I reached the top, 3 bigger barriers appeared that imprisoned the dinosaur and kept him from moving freely. I jumped from the last step and prepared to kill it. I managed to make a deep cut on his neck using the speed of the fall, that made the monster twist from the pain. It seems that's enough, now it begins to collapse on the ground.

We did it. We defeated it.
