"Well, what's the plan, leader?"

"Good question. Corneria, a little help!"

Looking back it seemed that she had finally finished another one of her spells.

"Another World | Field Suppressor"

A mist manifested in a perimeter around Rowen. This began to alter the area, as if the air pressure had become stronger. The 2 of us luckily were just on the edge outside so as not to take any damage.

"Hahaha, her attacks aren't even able to tickle me!"

His 4 stone knuckles hit the floor scattering her magic.

"He broke my spell with a physical attack? How big is the difference in power between our Objects?"

She seemed quite surprised judging by her tone.

"Don't you have a more powerful spell?"

"Yes. But it will take time to be ready, which I don't think we'll get. Watch out!"

Hearing her words I turned around to watch as one of his claws headed for me.

"Round!"

Using this rune upon contact I was able to slide to the side avoiding the blow.

"Bastard! Vital Force!"

Zeke buried the opposite end of his scythe into the ground, on the other hand the blade increased a bit in size, changed color to neon green and became more robust. With that he received the impact that barely managed to move him a few centimeters.

That was not all, the third and fourth of these went towards Corneria. Damn, it took advantage of the fact that we are distracted and she can't move.

I won't get there in time to help her!

"I won't leave you!"

Suddenly a strong blizzard appeared in front of her acting as a wall, it managed to stop her arms from moving forward.

"What the hell is this?!" shouted Rowen angrily.

"It worked... look Asriel! What you said worked!"

Maria very happily demonstrated the fruit of her efforts with a wide smile.

"Nonsense, all kinds of powers outside the Objects should be sealed. How can you call the power of your soul?"

"Easy, this doesn't come from me but from nature"

"Stop lying kid, that can't be"

"I'm not a kid! You're mister old man!"

"O, old man!? How dare you insolent little girl!?"

"Who's the one being careless now?"

"Boy!"

"Don't forget about me, Sonic!"

Taking advantage of the fact that he was concentrating on Maria, the two of us quickly went to attack his body. Again we each attacked from a different side.

"Not so fast!"

With his remaining arms he managed to block our blows, just inches away from our target.

"Almost, huh?"

"On the next one I'll rip your head off" Zeke was saying somewhat excitedly.

"You'll be the ones who will lose it!"

While he was keeping us busy his other limbs were coming for us.

"I won't let you!"

As he finished those words a gust of wind interjected, it was so powerful that it managed to deflect his attack towards himself.

"Ugh, little girl, stop interrupting!"

The impact made him crawl a few meters, though he didn't change his pose at any point. He's certainly a stubborn old man.

We took the opportunity to regroup with the girls.

"That was awesome Maria, when this is over I'll give you a reward"

"Really? Can it be anything I want?"

"Of course" I replied stroking her head.

"Yujuu~"

"What the hell are they talking so much about? We're in the middle of a fight"

"I agree with Zeke. Let's save the talk for when we're done with our mission"

"I know. Even so, we can't get close because of its annoying demonic limbs. Between that and his high defense he's a very annoying enemy to deal with. Anyone have any ideas?"

"Ha, I guess I have no choice"

"What are you talking about Zeke? Do you have a plan?"

"If you take it upon yourselves to distract him I'll kill him outright"

"Do you really think it'll be that easy? You're not just showing off?"

"I'd rather leave it as a last resort, I don't like to reveal my tricks to strangers. However, considering the situation I think it's for the best, are you up for it or not?"

I don't know if it gives me much confidence to leave that job to this guy. Well, it's true that lately he has cooperated in defeating him, but I shouldn't trust him blindly.

"What do you think?"

"I trust whatever you say Asriel~"

"I agree with her. We leave the judgement in your hands"

"In that case... for lack of any other alternative we'll go with that. First we must take care of those 4 arms"

"I'll take care of it" said Corneria.

"Thanks, I'll leave it to you then. I'll act as bait and distract him. Maria, you behind me and back me up when you can, shall we?"

"Ok~ she replied waving her hand.

"Zeke, I'll do my best to create an opening for you. Don't waste it"

"Ha, who do you think you're talking to? It'll be a piece of cake"

With the roles ready we all looked forward determined to act.

I closed my eyes for a second and took a deep breath to calm and motivate myself.

"Let's go team! Sonic!"
