A Fated Meeting (VII)

The next day we woke up early and went back to that site. Only the ravage and our memories are left from what happened yesterday.

I filled some bottles with water while she picked up plants and fruits that put on a basket. Back to the cabin I helped her cutting up some wood and we rested eating what we collected.

It was a strange feeling, like a home. It's the first time that I feel so calm since all this stuff of the day of the Apocalypse started, it really is like an oasis in the middle of this twisted reality. I want to stay here, where peace abounds more than on the outside.

Even so, despite the attached I feel to this place I must continue. I have to know the origin of this phenomena, why did those monsters appeared and wander lose on this planet, the reason why I obtained this powers.

He was a tall man wearing an orange t-shirt and a hat, blue jeans with a flashy belt. He must be about 30 years old. In his shoulder he brought a dead pig and in the other some vegetables.

"I was worried! I thought you had died or something worse!" said with a cute voice at the edge of tears.

She went and punch him in the chest, I doubt that hurt him in the least. It's a nice scene, truly they look like a family of a father and daughter.

"Now that you came back I can continue with my journey"

I'm calm. Now I know that there is someone to protect this girl. I don't want to be a bother. I stood up decided to go on with my adventure.

"Oh, you're leaving? Where to if I can ask?"
