Chapter 20: Stock Up on Information

Haley’s biggest break in her mission yet happened by accident. It’s mere chance and coincidence that she’s in the right place at the right time.

She couldn’t care less if she’d found it by God’s graces or the devil’s dealings, she stumbled into it and would take every advantage offered to her.

The Silvermanes were hosting a little casual get together, and by casual she meant business party get together. And, as always, they needed extra hands to serve their guests.

It was safe to say that she was one of the go-to hostesses they brought on whenever they were throwing a party—and they threw a lot of parties. More so than the Parkers and even the Winstons.

She was starting to see a pattern in it though. The Winstons came by maybe once a week, the Parkers were only invited for big occasions where not inviting them would be seen as rude.

Meanwhile, family dinners were every night and guests for business seemed to join just about every other day or so.
