Prologue

Thump, Thump, Thump my ears are ringing like crazy! Just keep running, Just keep running! All I could do was run, I could make it.

OK! I know you shouldn't run with your eyes closed but, I could almost feel the pull for it. So I did And I could feel it all, I could hear it all! My heart is going in a rhythmic pattern, The blood flowing through my legs and the smell of the forest, the redcedar, the pine! I could smell the Pine!

I knew what this meant, I opened my eyes if I could smell the pine, the cottage, my home… I'll be safe there.

I could almost see it with porch lights until I heard twigs snap. NO! Not now. I didn't want to look behind me but it was instant. I saw its golden eyes, it's peachy fur and horrendous snow white fangs.

"Grrrr- YOWL"

"AH-"

Everything went black.

Chapter One: Jasmine

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP

Ughhhhh was my only thought while getting up. Ething though this happens everyday, So as the alarm got louder I finally got up, as I turned my alarm off I gazed on the top of our bed. Yes our's, poor baby bro i'm sooo sorry, Not!

I took a long deep breath. I love mondays, As I climbed onto his bed I did my best to wait for the perfect opening.

He was always peaceful as he slept. His dark-brown curls, the tan skin that made him look like he was from the caribbean but somehow a lighter shade. And his dark birthmarks over his left arm, looking like a $100 dollar tattoo.

Welp here we go!

"RISE AND SHINE BABY BRO!!" I semi yelled into his ear.

"Ugh...fine" he groaned as he shooed me off with a face palm.

I gave him my best laugh as I moved his head and climbed down, till I tripped on some of his clothes.

"Grr, B why are your clothes all over the floor again?" I asked trying not to explode

My dear baby bro looked over from the bed and rubbed his eyes, "I was going to do them last night, but it got too late so I put them in the basket" He murmured. "Maybe you sleep walked again and knocked them down."

"Oh" I said, feeling my hot face. It was probably already red by now.

"Oh indeed, now get out so I can change" B growled, I know he didn't growl on purpose but I couldn't help to see an opening.

"Why" I started "What you got that impressing?" I teased and pointed my finger at him.

5, 4, 3, 2 and….1

"JUST GET OUT JASMINE!" he yelled

And as the best twin sister in the world, I scrambled away.

As I was chuckling while running down the hallway. There was a shadow in the corner of my eye, I turned around but nothing was there, just the empty hallway. So I carried on to the kitchen.

There were already a few people there like Sister Aurora, Grace and Shane. They were all preparing breakfast, well mostly Sister Aurora, but Shane and Grace were helping somewhat.

"Morning Miss. Jasmine" said Sister A in her soft tone of voice.

"Morning Sister, morning shortie 1 and shourie 2" I said, maybe even with a voice crack.

"HEY" yelled Grace and Shane in unison.

Sister just ignored them and continued to make conversation with me. "Where is Mr. Bryan, still asleep ?"

"Achely not ma'am" I said " He is just taking a long to change, like all mondays" Knowing Sister would understand.
