Felicitous Memories XIX

"We are here" said Dom as he smiled and he parked the car.

"Seriously Dom?" asked Natasha as she could not believe what she was seeing and she got out of the car.

"Yes seriously" said Dom as he smiled and he out of the car as well.

"An arcade? This is your surprise?" asked Natasha.

"Mhmm, don't you like it?" asked Dom with a smile.

"I'm just… surprised that's all" said Natasha.

"Don't you always said that you always wanted to go to an arcade?" asked Dom as he smiled.

"I mean yes but… you just surprised me" said Natasha as she laughed.

"And that's a good thing" said Dom as he smiled and Natasha shook her head, he always was full of surprises.

"Come on let's go in" said Dom as he smiled and Natasha nodded as she followed after him and they walked into the arcade.

"I'll go get us some tickets" said Dom as Natasha nodded and he walked away.

Natasha looked around, everywhere was just so flashy, she could hear the many sound effects of the different vide games as she smiled Dom was sweet, she didn't even know that he actually paid attention to the things that she said.

"You seem to be fascinated" said Dom as he laughed and he walked back to her.

"I mean yes, I have never been to an arcade before, when I was little, I always wanted to go, but my dad was too busy to take me, and he didn't like us going out in public places" said Natasha as she laughed.

"Well you are here now, so what do you want to do? Play video games or something else?" asked Dom as he smiled.

"I guessed I don't have to ask you if you have been here before" said Natasha as Dom winked at her and she laughed.

"Alright, let's play video games" said Natasha as she smiled.

"After you Madam" said Dom as he smiled.

"Thank you kind sir" said Natasha as she laughed and she walked ahead of Dom as he followed after her.

"And I lost… again" said Natasha as she sighed.

"I don't think that video games are your forte" said Dom as Natasha laughed.

"Now if Michael was here, he would clear this level, actually I think he has the highest record, let me check" said Dom as Natasha moved away from the game machine as Dom checked the high scores.

"Hey, he's actually still the champion" said Dom as he laughed.

"He is?" asked Natasha in surprise as Dom nodded.

"That's the name he entered MIC" said Dom as he laughed.

"You know, isn't it weird that two adults are playing with the games in an arcade?" asked Natasha as she laughed.

"No I don't think it's weird at all, even adults need to relax sometimes" said Dom as he laughed.

"Come on, why don't we dance instead?" asked Dom as he smiled.

"Dance?" asked Natasha as he nodded.

"No, no, I am a horrible dancer" said Natasha as she shook her head.

"So am I, but it doesn't hurt to try, come on" said Dom as he took Natasha hand and they walked to the dancing game as he started it and he stood on the dance pad.

"Are you ready?" asked Dom as he smiled.

"No" said Natasha as he laughed and the game started as both he and Natasha had to keep up with the dance moves shown on the screen.

"We must look very ridiculous right now" said Natasha as she laughed.

"You might, but I know that I have good moves" said Dom as Natasha laughed and just as he said that he missed a step and he lost.

"That technically means that I won right?" asked Natasha as she looked at him.

"No, no I just let you win since it's your first time playing" said Dom.

"Yeah right, petty" said Natasha as she scoffed and she stepped off the dance pad as some children went on it next.

"Now that's how you do it" said Natasha as Dom laughed.

"What's next on the agenda?" asked Natasha as she and Dom walked together.

"Hmm let's see, how about this?" asked Dom as he pointed to a claw machine game.

"The claw game?" asked Natasha.

"Yes, I happen to have some coins with me? You want to go first?" asked Dom as he smiled.

"I don't see why not" said Natasha as Dom inserted a coin into the machine as Natasha held the controls and she moved the claw, there were so many stuffed animals in the glass container, but Natasha had her eyes on a little stuffed bunny as the claw took hold of it and as she tried to pull it up, the claw's grip was lost as it went back up to the centre of the box.

"Aww" said Natasha as her turn was over.

"Try again, I am sure that you can get it" said Dom as he smiled and he put in another coin as Natasha tried again, but she failed, and again, and again.

"I think that this thing is rigged" said Natasha as she scoffed and Dom chuckled.

"Well let me try" said Dom as Natasha moved for him to try.

"Good luck" said Natasha.

"Which animal do you want?" asked Dom.

"The white bunny" said Natasha.

"And I shall get it for you" said Dom as he smiled and he inserted the last coin that he had.

"Don't be too cocky, I tried multiple times, there is no way that you can get…" said Natasha as she took back her words when without warning, Dom took hold of the stuffed bunny, and he pulled it out as if it was nothing.

"A gift for you my dear" said Dom as he handed the stuffed bunny to Natasha who was looking at him with a shocked expression on her face.

"No way you just did that in one try" said Natasha as she shook her head, she refused to believe that.

"I did, it's not that hard" said Dom as he laughed at the shocked expression on Natasha's face.

"But I… you… this thing is definitely rigged, somehow…" said Natasha as she shook her head.

"Do you want your bunny or not?" asked Dom as he smiled.

"Thank you very much, even though I am sure that you connived with the claw game machine deities to put me to shame" said Natasha as she took the bunny from him and Dom laughed.

"What are you going to name him?" asked Dom as he smiled.

"Him?? How can you assume that it's a he?" asked Natasha as Dom laughed.

"Alright, is it a girl or a boy?" asked Dom as he smiled at Natasha.

"That's better, she's a girl" said Natasha as she smiled.

"And what's her name?" asked Dom.

"Hmm let's see Dom Jr, named in your honour because you got her for me" said Natasha as Dom laughed.

"I like the sound of that, does that mean that I am a father now?" asked Dom as Natasha laughed.

"Oh don't flatter yourself" said Natasha as she scoffed and Dom laughed at her.

"Your fries will be out in a minute" said a waitress as she placed two milkshakes on the table were Dom and Natasha were sitting together.

"Thank you" said Dom and Natasha in a chorus as the waitress smiled and she walked away.

Natasha took a sip of her vanilla milkshake as Dom looked at his phone briefly and he turned it off as he put it in his pocket.

"Something important?" asked Natasha.

"No, not really, It's just Lia texting me, I will reply her later, for now, we are both busy together" said Dom as he smiled.

"You know she won't be happy if you ignore her" said Natasha as she smiled.

"I will explain and apologize to her later, it would be rude for me to not pay attention to you while we are together" said Dom as Natasha smiled at him.

"I won't be rude at all, I understand, besides, I am not alone, I have Dom Jr to keep me company" said Natasha as Dom laughed.

"Dom Jr, do you want to taste the milkshake?" asked Natasha as she moved Dom Jr's mouth to make it look like he was talking and that made Dom laugh.

"And you call me the silly one" said Dom as he drank his milkshake.

"I do not know what you are talking about" said Natasha as she feigned ignorance and she smiled as the waitress brought their fries in a basket.

Natasha put Dom Jr to sit beside her, when she suddenly felt kicking in the other stall behind her, as if there was someone kicking the chair.

"Isn't it nice to go out for a change?" asked Dom as he smiled.

"Well yes… but only once in a while, don't flatter yourself, I won't go out with you all the time" said Natasha as Dom laughed and Natasha frowned once again as the kicking on her chair came again.

"What's wrong?" asked Dom as he noticed her frowning.

"Give me a moment" said Natasha as she turned to the other stall and she saw a little boy sitting alone as he was kicking and punching the chair.

"Hello" said Natasha with a smile as the little boy looked at her.

"Hello" said the little boy as he replied.

"Are you alone where are your parents?" asked Natasha.

"My mom went to the restroom" said the boy.

"Oh I see, can you please stop kicking the chair sweetie? It's not good to do that, you might be disturbing other people" said Natasha as the boy just looked at her.

"But I am bored" said the boy.

"You might be bored, but it's not nice to take out your frustration on something else" said Natasha in the softest tone that she had.

"It's mean to do that sweetie" said Natasha as the boy looked at her.

"I didn't mean to be mean, I am sorry" said the boy.

"It's fine" said Natasha as she smiled at him.

"You know what you can have this for being so polite and apologizing" said Natasha as she handed Dom Jr. to the little boy who looked at it with awe.

"Really?" asked the little boy with stars in his eyes.

"I can have it?" he asked.

"Yes you can, for admitting to your mistake" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Thank you Miss" said the boy with a smile as he looked at Natasha and he took Dom Jr from her.

"You are welcome" said Natasha as she smiled and she turned back to face Dom.

"Oh no you gave Dom Jr away, my daughter" said Dom as Natasha laughed.

"Oh I don't need it, I'm too old for stuffed animals anyway, the boy is bored" said Natasha as she smiled and she drank her milkshake.

"You really are sweet" said Dom as he smiled and Natasha smiled at him.

"I am sure that you will be a wonderful mother" said Dom as he smiled and Natasha laughed.

"I don't know about that… maybe when I'm 30, having a child is the last thing on my mind right now, sure they are cute, and wonderful, sweet and nice, but they are also so much responsibility" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Well said" said Dom as he smiled and Natasha smiled at him as a woman walked to the little boy and he showed her the stuffed animal as he explained.

"Children are a lot of responsibility, once they are in the picture, things will change" said Dom as he ate some of the fries.

"Agreed" said Natasha as she smiled and a woman with the little boy walked up to her.

"Excuse me miss" said the woman as Natasha looked at her.

"Yes can I help you?" asked Natasha as she smiled.

"My son told me that you gave him this stuffed animal, thank you" said the woman.

"Oh it's alright" said Natasha as she smiled and the little boy smiled.

"Thank you once again" said the woman.

"Don't mention it" said Natasha as she smiled

"You two are a lovely couple" said the woman.

"Ahh actually we are not a…" said Natasha as she was cut off by Dom.

"Thank you miss" said Dom as he smiled and the woman waved at them and so did the little boy as she and her son walked away.

"But we aren't a couple" said Natasha as she looked at Dom.

"We aren't an official couple, but we are" said Dom as he smiled.

"Whatever you say" said Natasha as she smiled at him and Dom smiled at her as she drank her milkshake.

Natasha yawned as she opened her eyes and she rubbed them as she ran her fingers through her hair she was just so tired, she did not even want to get out of bed at all.

But in the same moment Natasha heard a knock on the door of her room as she groaned.

"Natasha" called Dom as he knocked on her door and in the same moment Natasha opened her eyes and she got out of bed and she combed her hair with her finger's messily.

"Natasha, are you okay?" asked Dom as he was hearing some strange sounds from inside Natasha's room as in the same moment Natasha opened the door of her room.

"Hi Dom" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Hi Natasha… are you okay?" asked Dom as he looked at her.

"Yes, I am fine" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Are you sure?" asked Dom as Natasha nodded.

"Because you look flustered" said Dom as he saw Natasha's messy hair and he used the back of his hand to check the temperature of her forehead.

"No I am just fine Dom" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Okay then, if you say so, I am going to the store, do you need anything?" asked Dom as he smiled.

"Oh… umm… we need eggs, and some tomatoes, actually we need a lot of things, I'll just text you the list" said Natasha.

"Alright then, see you later" said Dom as he smiled and he walked away as Natasha smiled and she closed the door behind her.

"Why was I so… flustered…?" asked Natasha to herself as she sighed, she did not understand herself at all.
