Are you done now?

To say that this woman was getting under her skin would be an understatement. Natasha was seriously irked, this woman was nothing but an opportunist who thought that the only people worthy of her respect were the wealthy upper class. Anyone else was beneath her and Natasha seriously hated people who were like that they were highly superficial.

"Yes, yes we really are lucky." replied Dom as he chuckled awkwardly, he did not like how serious the tension was in the moment and he would prefer it if he just paid for this and they left the store before things got messy.

"Here's my card." he said as he handed the woman his card as she collected it.

"Alright, are you sure that there is nothing else I can help you with sir?" asked the woman with a bright smile as she waited for the transaction to go through.

"No, nothing at all." said Dom as he smiled.

"Are you sure sir? If there's anything at all that you need my help with, I am more than happy to assist you in any way." she said.

"I am very sure." replied Dom.

"Alright sir, if you say so, here is your purchase, thank you for shopping at La mode boutique." she said as she handed Dom the shopping bag containing the dress that she had just neatly folded into a white box.

"Thank you." he said as he smiled already ready to leave and so was Natasha until the woman suddenly said something else.

"Madam are you happy with your purchase is there anything else that I can be of assistance?" she asked with a bright smile as Natasha turned around.

"No, thank you, I am happy with my purchase, after all I chose it myself." Natasha replied with a mocking smile on her face causing the woman to flinch, she could not say that she did not deserve to be insulted for her behaviour earlier.

"Ahh yes you did Madam, I apologize for my unruly behaviour earlier, I should have been nicer to you. I sincerely apologize for the manner in which I spoke to you." said the woman softly.

"Your apology is accepted, and I would like to take my leave now." replied Natasha with a cold smile as Dom turned around. He felt like since he was here already he had to stay to make sure that this situation did not escalate any further. He could tell that Natasha was severely irritated.

"Oh please don't leave yet madam, allow me make it up to you and help you with some accessories like jewelry or shoes or even some designer handbags." said the woman as she could clearly see that Natasha had not yet truly accepted her apology.

"Thanks for your offer but I don't want any accessories or jewelry or handbags." replied Natasha sternly.

"Are you sure madam? They would surely compliment your already more than beautiful face right sir??" said the woman as she figured out that flattery was the next best thing.

"Right..." said Dom as he laughed sheepishly, he did not want to be roped into this mess, and he preferred it if this woman didn't ask for his opinion, he did not need Natasha directing her anger towards him, he had already experienced enough of that.

"I am very sure." replied Natasha sternly.

"Madam, your dress, I forgot to check it for any damages. Please allow me to check it before you leave. It is only store protocol." said the woman.

"Oh and you didn't remember to do that when I first bought it?" asked Natasha with a raised eyebrow.

"Please forgive me madam, it sincerely skipped my mind." said the woman as she smiled sheepishly.

Natasha looked at Dom and the expression on his face read 'It won't hurt to let her check the dress before we leave' to which Natasha sighed before handing over the shopping bag to the woman.

"Thank you madam." said the woman as she smiled and removed the dress from the box and she inspected the dress carefully.

Natasha sighed in annoyance, this was taking longer than it should have in her perspective and her mind had already left the store a long time ago.

"Can you be any quicker?" she asked as the woman smiled.

"I am sorry madam, but I cannot be, I have to make sure to check the dress thoroughly because if the dress is suddenly damaged after you bought it we will be liable and have to give you a full refund." she explained softly as Natasha could not seem to care less.

"But must I say madam that this is a very beautiful dress. It will certainly look doon on you." said the woman as Natasha did not reply.

"Are you done now?" asked Natasha in impatience.

"Just give me a few minutes more madam please." said the woman with a smile, she could tell that Natasha was already severely irritated so she decided to engage her in some small talk.

"I really love this colour, do you like yellow madam?" asked the woman in an attempt to strike up a conversation.

"Yes, why else would I choose a yellow dress?" asked Natasha in sarcasm as she scoffed.

"I personally like yellow as well, but madam if I may give my opinion, this shade of yellow is rather bright." said the woman as Natasha looked at her with an unreadable expression present on her face.

She had wanted to ask what exactly concerned her with how bright the shade was, but she just decided that it was better to be silent than to encourage her by responding.

"I know that it sounds rather uncalled for that I give my opinion, but I would have done so earlier had I not forgotten." said the woman.

"This dress is very, very beautiful madam, but I believe that you would look so much better in red." said the woman as Natasha stared at her, wondering why she was still going despite how irked she looked and sounded.

"I don't think so." replied Natasha as she shook her head.

"Oh but why not madam? Believe me, red will suit you perfectly, even better than the yellow." said the woman as now Natasha was forced to answer.

"I doubt that, my hair is red, so if I wear a red dress there will be too much red." she replied.

"No, no madam, who told you that? I am sure you will look striking in red, the colour of your hair doesn't matter at all." said the woman confidently.

"I have just the perfect dress in mind to show you exactly what I mean." said the woman as she hastily left the front desk and rushed to the dress racks.

Natasha groaned internally she was already more than tired of this. She glanced at Dom who was texting on his phone. He looked like he was not in a rush and that certainly seemed to be the reason why this woman thought that she could delay them here.

"I'm back, and this is the lovely, lovely dress that I am talking about, have a look at it." said the woman with a beaming smile on her face as she showed Natasha the dress.

"See madam, it is made of satin, the fabric is very soft and silky, and it's also in your style, it's modest and not too revealing, I'm sure that if you try it on you'll see that I am right!" said the woman excitedly.

Natasha looked at the dress and ran her hand over the fabric, it was truly as soft and silky as the woman had said, and she had to admit that it was her style.

The dress was a dark red floor length gown with split blouson sleeves with a pleated wrap-effect bodice and deep v-neckline. Natasha was finding it a little bit difficult to refuse this woman's offer.

"I have no plans of trying it on." she replied.

"That's alright madam, it's your size and I am certain that it will fit you. You will look so elegant in this dress." said the woman as she tried to convince her.

"I still prefer the yellow on, I chose it myself." said Natasha.

"Oh but you will look regal in this dress madam. I am sure that even your husband agrees right Mr. White?" asked the woman as she enthusiastically turned to look at Dom who had not expected to be dragged into this dress discussion.

"Yes..." he replied awkwardly as he had not expected to be called out like that.

"You see madam, even your husband agrees with me." said the woman excitedly as she turned to look at Natasha who scoffed.

"He doesn't, he only said that because he had to." replied Natasha seriously as she frowned.

"No, no, not at all madam, you will look simply ravishing in this dress, and your husband will agree, right sir?" asked the woman as she looked at Dom who was silently hoping that she would stop asking him that.

"Well yes..." he replied with an awkward chuckle as Natasha looked at him.

"Oh really now?" asked Natasha with a raised eyebrow as she looked at Dom.
