THE SIBLINGS

The Kingdom of Lugunica was in a panic. News had spread fast as soon as people appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the city. The King and his attendants quickly diffused the situation and gave them shelter as they pondered on what to do.

"You are saying that.. Allon himself has attacked the village?" The king asked once more.

"Yes," Tyra replied.

"Then... How is the world still intact? Where are the summoned? What about the three generals?!" Ein asked

As soon as she asked that question, a portal appeared in front of them and the summoned and the three generals appeared. They all looked tired, hurt and traumatized, and the reason was pretty visible, as they all saw Emilia's pale body on Marcus' hands. Blood flowed down his hands as he walked ahead of everyone else. Virginia and several others were on the verge of crying as they walked silently in between the crowd of villagers from Brook. Ein's heart skipped a beat as she slowly walked towards Marcus.

"Emilia..??"

She looked at her, the at Marcus. Marcus looked back at her, shaking his head. His eyes said it all.

"W- What happened to her?" She asked calmly as she tried to conceal her emotions.

"Well.." Marcus said, as he struggled to say the next set of words.

"Mark.. Mark stabbed her.. He..." Virginia said as she cried.

"Hey now.. Let's try to calmly think about this.. Shall we-"

Ein let out a shrill cry as her aura exploded throughout the place.

"Mark.. MARK! WHERE IS HE!!!" She demanded. Her aura was as darkening as she spoke. She already hated Mark, and now she was hearing such news, that the death of her recent best friend was through Mark.. No words would go through to her now, as she now only wanted to personally tear Mark to pieces.

"M- Mark is not here.." Virginia said amid her cries. "A Chosen... Took him.... He.. Looked... Angr-" Her words were left floating in the air as she collapsed.

"A Chosen?"

"Y- Yes, Princess Ein... A Masked Chosen, the same one that you talked of... Might have already killed Mark." Augustine said.

"Killed?" They all asked simultaneously. 

Tyra was listening to their conversation, but without knowing, she spoke up.

"No way! He looked kind! There's no way-"

Then, she remembered, the absolute terror and blood lust that she felt back then.

"You remember the chill now, right? You remember the fear that we all felt back then, right? That was one powerful being... One that was powerful enough to make even Allon to sweat in his presence.. There is no way Mark is alive...." A Summoned said.

As they spoke those words, a portal opened in front of them, and out of it...

Came Mark, together with the masked individual.

"Mark.. He's alive?"

"But, we saw him being-"

Mark suddenly regained all the attention in the room as he suddenly bowed down.

"Guys..! Please forgive me for all I have done to all of you... This might seem sudden, but given that this is my second chance in life, I saw everything that I did, and I have reflected.... I ask that you may all forgive me.. PLEASE!" He said as he maintained his bow.

"Why are you here?" Ein asked, her eyes staring coldly at Mark.

"Why are you not dead?" She asked again, as she unsheathed her sword and dashed towards Mark. Mitsuki quickly stopped her as he stood in front of Mark.

"Move, chosen one... I have personal business with him.."

"Ein! What are you doing?! Be careful with what your mouth says! Remember, he is a high ranking chosen!" The King shouted after seeing the commotion that was happening from afar.

"Generally, I don't care right now," She said, staring at the masked individual in front of her.

"Emilia was a precious person to me! And you want me to forgive the killer just because he said SORRY? She wasn't someone important to you at all, so you can't understand the pain I feel!" She shouted as she raised her sword up.

Suddenly, she felt her sword's blade being grabbed by the masked individual, and she saw it shatter in front of her. Everyone was sweating intensely, due to a single individual. He had not unleashed any aura, he had not moved and he had not uttered even a single word, yet they were all shaking.

"Hold your tongue, girl."

That was the only thing they heard. His voice was crisp and vivid in the eternal silence.

Never in her life, had Ein heard such threatening words, and she had never felt such fear as she did now, and that fear increased as she was suddenly plunged into a dark world.

"Where did they go?!"

"Emilia's body is gone too!"

"WHAT!"

Ein saw Emilia's body float towards Mitsuki in the dark place they were now in. She was shaking a bit, knowing well her statement had clearly angered him.

"U- Um, by any chance-" She tried to ask.

"I will not repeat myself, girl. Halt your tongue, and do not say any other word, "

Suddenly, a dark haired girl appeared beside the masked individual.

"You finally called me, brother! Do you know how boring Aqua's place is??" Miyuki complained as she pouted. She stared at her brother for a while, before looking at the body beside him. Her eyes went pale as she saw Emilia's lifeless body.

"Brother... Who made you angry?" Miyuki asked as she looked at Ein.. Ein felt as if death was all around her as Miyuki stared at her with an innocent look on her face.

"What the hell is this?!"

Suddenly, she felt a hand on the shoulder.

"It wasn't you who made him angry, right?" Miyuki whispered to her ear.

Ein was at her limit. Her legs gave up as she fell onto the pitch black surface. 

"Relax! Relax! I'm Just joking!" Miyuki said as she giggled.

"I can tell, that she's precious to you, so I understand you.. Don't worry, we will definitely save her!" Miyuki said as she merrily walked towards Mitsuki. A sword appeared on her right hand.

"Where is her soul?" She asked nonchalantly.

A dark purple sphere appeared in front of Mitsuki, floating above Emilia, as if it recognized its own vessel.

"Take off your mask."

As he did so, Ein saw his bright golden eyes, which seemed to be full of anger and bloodlust.

"Alright now, let's start this." Miyuki said as her hair grew longer and its shade became a lighter black.

A white crest appeared under Emilia's body as a green aura covered her.

Mitsuki took in a deep breath as his eyes became crimson red.

A red hexagonal crest rotated around Emilia's body and soul, as the two combined.

Mitsuki collapsed on the ground as his energy got drained away.

"Um Sir! Are you alright?!" Ein asked as she stood up and tried to walk towards Mitsuki.

"You," Miyuki called her out. "What do you think you are doing?"

"Her voice is gentle, her face looks so innocent and fragile, but... WHAT IS THIS INTENSE PRESSURE I'M FEELING?' Ein wondered as she looked at Miyuki. Miyuki's eyes were closed, but she could feel an intense gaze.

"She is now fine, so she is alive. Take her back to the kingdom and look after her." Miyuki said as Emilia's now unconscious body floated towards Ein.

"T-Thank you very much.. I cant express my gratitude..." Ein said as she lifted up Emilia. She felt her warmth and her pulse. Before she knew it, tears were flowing down her face, as she smiled passionately.

"Do not tell anyone, including her, about what happened here, Understood?" Miyuki asked, her tone unchanging.

To Ein, she felt as if she had been encircled by a large monster, with its mouth wide open, ready to feast on her and her alone. She gulped as she nodded at Miyuki.

"Good, then we are done here. Leave."

"Leave? But Ho-" 

Suddenly, the two girls vanished.

Miyuki sighed as she played with Mitsuki's hair.

"Brother... You are always the same, aren't you?" She said as memories, sweet, precious memories surged through her head.

"Anyway, I seem to have one very obnoxious title... The hell is this...."
