Chapter 18: Julie - Chief Wall?

I screamed in fear as he disappeared, “ Lucas!”

I cried my heart out. What happened to my boy? He is gone. Is he dead? Did he sacrifice himself for us? What did he just say? I can’t remember. My pore Lucas. Why!? It should've taken me! Why take Lucas!?

I dropped to my hands and knees as tears came pouring out.

I blubbered, “ Why did he have to sacrifice himself? ”

Chief Wall appears and says, “ He has done no such thing and I assure you he is living life to its fullest. I am so sorry for the intrusion but I forgot something.”

Jasmine pulls out a hand gun and said, “ Oh shut the fuck up! I'm not through with any of you yet!”

Chief Wall said abruptly, “ That reminds me.”

He snaps his fingers and Jasmine disappears.

I asked, “ What did you do!?”

He answered, “ Oh don’t worry, She is exactly where she belongs.”

Shocked, I said, “ You don’t mean?”

He smiled and said, “ At the police station.”
