Isac heard someone crying. He paused in the middle of a sentence for a moment. Michael paused as well. They both heard a low weeping coming from the bedroom. It must be Calista they thought.
'So she woke up' Isac thought to himself. He didn't want to barge in but leaving her alone while she cried left him confused. It was unsettling. He couldn't leager her alone and let her cry alone. Maybe, only if his presence could make her feel better then he'd gladly be there for her. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable. But still he wanted to check up on her. So he went.
Michael followed him to the bedroom, she wasn't there in the bed when they opened the door. She was in the bathroom. The door was open. They saw her as she was sitting on the floor, holding the rims of the basin, as she cried in a low voice. It was pitiful to look at her like that...
Although these three didn't spend much time together nor they were friends.. looking at someone they know go through something horrible was difficult..
Isac went closer when he saw his bedsheet stained, it took him a moment to realize.
"Are you alright? " he asked as he helped her up.
"You must be frustrated, it's alright, let me help you with this" he spoke gently as he took the sheet away from her hand and started rinsing it.
"Ms.Calista, leave these things to us, we'll take care of it.. Please get some rest" Michael spoke as he stood behind Isac..
"I- I'm sorry, I'm just causing more and more trouble to you both.. I-... " she got cut off by Isac..
"Michael could you ask someone to get the necessary toiletries for her? "
"Yeah I'll do that" Michael left the place soon.
Calista stood there silently as she watched her boss, the CEO wash a period blood stained sheet.. She felt even more guilty and frustrated with herself.. why couldn't she do such a basic chore? How dare she make her boss do these for her?
