Kailey Is Dead

What Lawrence did not know was that the little woman he was talking about was in a dark corner not far from him. Beth was forced back into the car by the sudden heavy rain. Beth called Everly, "I don't dare to get too close. The entrances have been blocked. I am just ten minutes late. The people brought by Lawrence are so fast. It's raining cats and dogs. Do you hear the wind? It is like the wailing of ghosts and the howling of wolves. This is terrible."

Everly also felt the power of the storm at home. The raindrops fell on the glass window, the sound disturbing.

Everly couldn't imagine it. She thought, 'Maverick is on the outskirts. What will happen there? I'm sure it won't be good.'

Although Everly could not get along peacefully with Kailey, she doesn't want bad things to happen to Kailey. She did not want Maverick to be sad.

Everly thought, 'Is that what they say love me love my dog?'
