CHAPTER TWENTY -FOUR

Dylan was frozen on the spot, he couldn't move, he watched as she continued to cry her hearts out. He had listened to her words in silence, he couldn't do anything, he didn't even say anything, whatever words that tried to come out of his mouth got stuck in between his guts. He couldn't bring himself to say anything to her, he was still standing at the foot of the bed, he couldn't, no....he wouldn't dare touch her, not in this state, the only reason she was like this was because of his touch, touching her again would be fuel in fire even though it's for a completely different reason. 

She was angry, the glare she shot him earlier was a complete proof of that, but he could see that she also felt powerless, no matter how she tried to show that she was fine, the tears welling up in her eyes said it all.
