CHAPTER ONE

MATURE CONTENT 

AGE RESTRICTION.

Addeline couldn't help the moan that escaped her lips when she felt his hand itch a little closer to her panties, fuck it her knees were already weak. Luckily she was on the bed and that had helped her stay still, she could feel his lips tracing every inch of her skin leaving tiny bite marks. She tried to reach her hand out to pull him closer but his grip was firm around her wrists not giving her the opportunity to do anything. 

"Please..." Addeline begged as she closed her eyes, enjoying the sweet torture that his lips were bringing to her, she arch her hips forward wanting to reach for that climax she so badly wanted but the man was rather stingy. 

"Adeline" He called out softly as his hands traced the tiny fabric covering her wet folds, he hissed in satisfaction when he felt how ready she was for him. His finger tips lightly graze that sweet spot and he felt her body shiver with pleasure, but he wasn't going to stop there. 

"You are dripping Addeline" He spoke, his voice was husked, filled with restraint as his fingers teased her. 

Addeline sighed as she tried to fight it, she gently bit her lips trying to stop herself from moaning out his name, the pleasure was too much, his touch was enough to send her body jolting. She wanted to free her hands from his grip, she wanted to feel him, she felt powerless under his touch. 

"Adeline" 

She heard him call out again but this time his voice was louder.

"Adeline"

Adeline heard his voice but this time it sounded like the voice was angry, there was no desire or lust in it. And then she felt a hand reach out to touch her bringing her back to reality. 

"Adeline!" He called out again and this time he sounded like he was loosing his patience. 

Addeline snapped out of her daydream as she looked up from her desk. Her eyes were still a bit drowsy but she managed to sit straight, she rubbed her eyes gently as she looked at the figure towering before her. 

"Oh shit" Addeline cursed in her mind as she quickly got up from her table and began to stutter. 

"Mr...Mr Wayne, I'm... I'm sorry for....did...did you want something...is..is it lunch...I already placed an order....I" Addeline couldn't find the right words to say, she picked her tablet from the table and began checking the schedules wanting to know if she had missed something. 

"Adeline!" 

She heard him call out again. 

Addeline closed her eyes again as she anticipated the worst, all this while she had been afraid to look him in the eye for fear of what she would see. Now she could hear it in his voice. He was going to fire her, it was clear, how could she have overslept. Selena cursed herself inside as she finally raised her face to look at him. 

His figure was standing just right in front of her, he had his hands in his pocket, he was dressed in his usual grey suit that hugged his body perfectly. His jet black hair was looking a little disheveled due to the workload today but that only made him look more handsome. His face looked like it had been sculpted by the gods, one look and he could be mistaken as one of those fallen angels who came to tempt humans. His face bore no expression but one look at his eyes and Adeline could tell she was in big trouble. 

His grey eyes looked at her in a scrutinizing gaze like he was trying to find something, Adeline wished she could hide under some kind of shield, something that could protect her from his prying eyes but she couldn't. 

Her lips parted as she felt the urge to say something to defend herself but his gaze had her shutting her mouth the next instant. It looked like he would do something if she dared to say another word, and when she thought he was going to just leave without saying anything, he finally opened his mouth to speak. 

"Lunch arrived a few hours ago, you would have known that if you were awake. It's closing hours and you are still sleeping on your desk. " He spoke bluntly, his eyes never leaving hers as he watched her. He could tell she was finding the right words to say, he could see clearly the battle she was fighting but at the end he heard her sigh as she looked down to the ground. 

"I'm sorry for sleeping on the job" Adeline said, loose strands of her hair fell on her face as she looked down, she had her gaze fixed on her shoes. She couldn't dare to look him in the eyes, she could still feel his gaze on her. She was aware that her apology had no effect on the man, he was not some softhearted boss who would just pardon any mistake from his employee. This man standing in front of her was ruthless in his dealings, she knew that he wouldn't resort to getting her fired, the man had told her before that he wasn't going to fire her. He had made it clear to her that she was good at her job and that with her around, he was finally able to get things done. 

But Adeline couldn't deny that it was possible for him to change his mind. He might just fire her right now because she had been asleep for half of the day. 

Adeline sighed as she waited for his response to her apology, of course it would be the usual silence and then he would walk away. Adeline was expecting that and so she was going to put her head down until he was gone. 

"Sir the car is ready"

Adeline heard another voice in the room, she had not realized that someone else was standing there the entire time, or did he just walk in. 

"It's closing hours, why are you still here?" 

Adeline knew the question was directed to her but she was silent for a few seconds. 

"Answer me Adeline" He called out again and one would hear the anger in his tone. 

Adeline sighed as she raised her eyes to look at him. 

"I'll start packing up" Adeline spoke, her eyes were already brewing with tears as she tried not to let him notice it. Adeline quickly closed her laptop, she placed it inside her bag along with her tablet and her phone. She looked around making sure that she wasn't leaving anything behind. 

"Lunch?" 

Adeline heard his voice and then she glanced at the burger wrap on her table, she grabbed the bag and then she turned to him. 

"Let's go" His ordered again, his voice sounding colder this time.
