Chapter 28

Adeline closed her eyes, she tried as much as possible to bury all the rage she was feeling inside her. She despised this man, so much that she had to fight the urge to punch him hard on the face. Adeline had to remind herself that even though she despised this asshole, he was still her boss. 

Dylan carefully opened the bottle of ointment, he had this in here because of the time he had a terrible bruise on his way back from Russia. He never thought that he would have to use it this way, kneeling in front of a lady and attending to her wound. A few days ago, Dylan would have never thought he could do something like this, no, he would have dismissed the thought. But now, here he was applying ointment on her pale white skin, even though he would love for her to walk around with his mark, he knew that the ointment would help get rid of it.
