The two men dressed in black walked away, but the connection between the men and women did not cease.
After a prolonged session of kissing and cuddling, the entranced girl suddenly felt her partner break away from the kiss. She opened her eyes blankly and saw his handsome and alluring face smiling at her, though she didn't return the smile.
Although a little embarrassed and shy, the girl smiled nonetheless. "Could you please get off me first?"
Stephen chuckled, rolled over, and lay down. The girl sat up, straightened her clothes, and fixed her disheveled hair. Meanwhile, she confirmed that the man in black had left the park, then turned to Stephen. "Thank you for helping me. My name is Helena. What's your name?"
"Stephen."
"I must say, you're quite skilled."
"Well, you're not the first one to say that, and I have a feeling you won't be the last." Stephen turned to look at Helena, gently caressing her face with one hand and pulling her into an embrace. He chuckled and said, "We can't continue here. How about we find another place?"
Helena looked at Stephen's hand and smiled, with a hint of mischief in her expression. "Do you want to fall in love with me? I'm afraid once you find out who I am, you won't dare."
"My name is Helena Bertinelli. My father, Frank Bertinelli, is the leader of the infamous crime syndicate in Starling City. Are you not afraid of being killed by my father? He might even feed you to the fishes once he finds out," she warned.
"What is there to be afraid of? I didn't plan on falling in love with you. It'll be thrilling to run after we're done," Stephen replied with a smile.
"Really? Are you truly not afraid of my father?"
"Let's give it a try, shall we?"
Seeing Stephen's eagerness, Helena smirked. "Not today. I finally managed to shake them off to come to Central City. I can give you my number. If you're really not afraid, you can call me anytime."
With a smile, Stephen slapped his legs and said, "What a coincidence! I also wanted to go to Central City."
"Do you really want to go to Central City, or are you afraid of missing an opportunity?" Helena asked suspiciously.
"Both."
"Forget it. I'll give you a ride there. Wait for me on the side of the road."
"Okay."
They parted ways, and Stephen walked to the side of the road.
After about ten minutes, a sports car pulled up in front of Stephen. The door opened, and Helena leaned down, shouting at him.
Stephen got into the car, and the engine roared to life.
The sports car swiftly sped away.
Stephen wasn't sure how far Starling was from Central City, but if Helena chose this time, she must have made sure to return before dark. Speaking of her, she was a peculiar woman, adept at vigilantism. As a member of the mafia family, she specifically opposed her involvement in vigilantism.
Initially, she tried to pursue legal methods, collecting evidence and preparing to report to the authorities. However, something happened, and she turned into a huntress willing to even kill her own relatives. Her vigilante activities continued until her father was accidentally killed during a crossfire, and since that day, her vigilante pursuits were considered over.
She briefly joined the Green Arrow team and later the Bat Family, and she also worked with Oracle for a while. Unfortunately, her methods were brutal and lacked the no-killing standard. Consequently, her philosophy was inconsistent, and a few months later, she resumed her role as the huntress. Later on, she joined the Justice League and learned to control her temper and cruelty. However, Batman eventually expelled her from the league, stating they didn't need a killer on their team.
"Don't want to have me on the team? Fine, I'll find someone else to team up with!"
Soon after, she joined forces with Black Canary Laurel Lance, Barbara Gordon (code-named Oracle during her paralysis period), and formed a small organization called the Birds of Prey. The team gradually grew larger, with Catwoman, Katana, and Poison Ivy joining their ranks. At present, it seemed that Helena was still in the early stages of her vigilante career.
Looking at Barbara Gordon, who hadn't been paralyzed yet, Laurel Lance, who had just begun her training, and Helena in front of him, Stephen couldn't help but laugh.
"What's so funny?" Helena turned to Stephen and asked.
"What brings you to Central City?" Stephen smiled and shook his head, posing the question.
"I have some business to attend to," Helena casually replied. "And what about you? What are you here for?"
"I'm looking for someone to make me an item or something."
Helena gave him a puzzled look. "It won't be convenient for you to accompany me. If you're genuinely unafraid of my father, you'll have to wait for two hours until I finish arranging my things."
"Sounds good," Stephen responded with a smile.
Upon entering Central City, Helena parked her car at a high-end hotel.
"You can get off here, right? I'll come find you in two hours," Helena said.
Stephen simply nodded and got out of the car. As he looked around, he noticed that STAR Labs wasn't far away. Observing Helena drive away, Stephen leisurely walked towards the cutting-edge laboratory.
The particle explosion hadn't occurred yet, and the cutting-edge laboratory remained open.
As soon as Stephen reached the entrance, he was stopped by a security guard.
"Excuse me, sir, you can't enter without authorization. However, if you tell me the reason for your visit, I might be able to deliver a message for you."
"I'm looking for Sisko Ramon," Stephen said with a smile.
"Excuse me, but what's your name?" The security guard asked, preparing to contact someone. At that moment, the door opened, and two individuals walked out.
A man and a woman.
The woman had long curly hair and wore a shawl around her neck. She had a bright smile and carried herself with elegance. The man was of average height, with a dark brown complexion and shoulder-length hair.
None other than the future Vibe, Cisco Ramon, and Killer Frost, Caitlin Snow.
