Chapter 114 Green Arrow Has a Beautiful Sister 😏.
"It hurts, doesn't it?"
When Harrison Wells had a cold expression and others seemed nervous, Stephen suddenly chuckled and said something seemingly irrelevant. Pain? Why would it be painful? Barry Allen and the others were puzzled, but Harrison Wells showed a hint of recognition.
"Being forced to stay in a world that one doesn't belong to, wanting to go home but unable to, yet having to create and assist thy enemy. If anyone in this world cares about Barry Allen's safety, it's definitely you, because if he's dead, you lose your speed, you'll never be able to go home and will be trapped in this world, which is a death sentence for you."
Stephen sighed, and Harrison Wells remained silent.
To some extent, they share similarities because this isn't their world. The feeling of alienation and loneliness can be overwhelming at times. The difference is that Reverse Flash wants to go home while Stephen doesn't. So Stephen still admires Reverse Flash's ability to endure for fifteen years.
"Why do you know this?" Harrison Wells asked in a deep voice.
Stephen smiled and glanced around. "It's not important. What matters is that your traps aren't that great, especially for a speedster."
"Because speedsters have enough time to observe the environment, like this electronic fence, and... the one hiding on the roof." Stephen turned to look at the roof where Oliver Queen was hiding and waved his hand.
Boom!
The electric current struck the roof, and Oliver Queen quickly jumped off.
"Green Arrow, Oliver Queen, we finally meet," Stephen said, smiling at him.
Caitlin called and informed Stephen that Harrison Wells confessed to being Reverse Flash, it was a trap. This is the advantage of asymmetric intelligence. Stephen knows what Reverse Flash would do and want to do. Would he confess his identity when Barry Allen lost his speed? That's something Reverse Flash would never do. But Stephen still came.
First, let's see what kind of trap it is, and second, he is quite interested in delivering a face slap.
Upon entering, he surveyed the surroundings and left some small surprises along the way.
"Do you know me?" Oliver Queen asked, pulling his bow towards Stephen.
"If I didn't recognize your attire, how blind would I have to be? This trap..." Stephen gestured around and smiled. "Your idea, right?"
"Yes!" Oliver Queen confirmed.
"Very well." Stephen chuckled but didn't read the text, which made Oliver Queen slightly concerned.
What does he mean?
Stephen turned and walked towards Harrison Wells, shouting loudly as he went, "Cisco, are you sure this electronic fence can trap me?"
"Absolutely," Cisco Raymond, who was monitoring the surveillance, confidently replied.
"Then, let's give it a try."
After Stephen finished speaking, he passed Dr. Harrison Wells and walked straight into the electronic fence.
This move astonished everyone.
Confidence? Or arrogance?
"Barry!" Dr. Harrison Wells hurriedly left and called out to Barry.
Barry instantly activated the trap.
In an instant, an energy barrier appeared on the electronic fence, trapping Stephen inside.
"Sign!"
Everyone sighed, and Harrison Wells put his glasses back on, smiling at Stephen. "Confidence and arrogance are sometimes just one step apart. You will pay for your arrogance."
"Is that so?"
"Yes?" Stephen stretched out his hand and stroked the electronic barrier with a smile. "You finally caught me. You must be very excited and happy now. Caitlin, I thought we were friends?"
Caitlin Snow looked at Stephen apologetically. "Yes, we are friends, but what you did was wrong. I'm sorry, I... I have to do this."
"The clash of ideas is understandable." Stephen chuckled and turned to look at Oliver Queen. "I heard you have a beautiful sister?"
"If I were you, I wouldn't say that right now. It will only make your situation worse." Oliver Queen snorted coldly.
"I have a gift I didn't know whom to give to until I saw you!" Stephen slowly raised a finger. "One!"
"What? What are you talking about?"
"Two!"
"Stephen, you..."
Seeing Stephen confidently raise his fingers and count, everyone couldn't help but worry. Did he do something?
"Cisco!"
Barry Allen hurriedly yelled, wanting Cisco to check if Stephen had done anything.
"Three!"
Stephen's voice dropped, and everyone instantly became nervous, but... nothing happened!
"He's bluffing," Oliver Queen hummed.
Stephen looked at the corners of his mouth raised and said silently, "Burst!"
"Boom!"
Suddenly, an explosion sound came from behind Oliver Queen, and his arrows exploded instantly.
The impact of the explosion caused Oliver Queen to fall forward to the ground, grunting in pain.
"Oliver..." Barry Allen ran over, worried.
But then, bang! Boom! Boom! The explosions sounded one after another, fire raging and gunpowder smoke filling the air. Harrison Wells' wheelchair exploded during the continuous explosions, and its impact seemed stronger than the others, causing the entire S.T.A.R. Labs to shake.
"No..."
Cisco Ramon upstairs yelled and hurriedly turned to run downstairs.
When he reached downstairs, he saw that the surroundings had been completely devastated and in disarray. In the smoke, Cisco dragged Harrison Wells, who had lost his wheelchair and looked dazed, to the side. He then saw Barry Allen lifting Oliver Queen, while Caitlin Snow seemed slightly disheveled but otherwise unharmed.
"Great, everyone is okay." Cisco Raymond breathed a sigh of relief, but there was a faint sense that something was wrong.
No one was severely injured or killed in the explosion. Wouldn't that be too fortunate?
"Stephen!" Cisco Raymond suddenly looked up at the intact electronic fence. He sighed in relief and examined the equipment of the electronic fence. It didn't seem to have been affected by the explosion.
Was it just luck?
No.
This wasn't luck; Stephen did it deliberately!
Stephen deliberately didn't blow up this trap, didn't kill anyone, but... why?
Cisco Raymond gazed at Stephen with a smile at the corner of his mouth inside the electronic fence. What on earth did he intend to do?
