It was an ordinary day like any other. The sun was shining, big blue skies and birds chirping. Kade Scott is a college graduate, and he was out running out in his nearby park. Although he's unemployed he tries to stay in good health so that he can live a very long and happy life. He became like this because due to his families terrible health, he had no one to take him in when they all died so he became an orphan.
Kade said hey to passerbys while nodding, he believes that just a simple hello can go a long ways. He was about to finish his 5 mile run when he noticed dark streams in a double helix fashion fall down from the skies.
"What the hell?" Kade thought as one of those said helix's came gunning for him. The coil shot into his body, and he felt immense pain. It was as if he himself was getting torn apart and then putting back together as a new person. The pain was so bad that he started to hurl uncontrollable and he pissed his pants before losing consciousness...

Kade opened his eyes and he saw three nurses and one doctor standing above him, looking at him with eyes of curiosity.
Kade was confused, why were they staring at him like that? He began to sit up when they rushed over him and said "Hey hey hey, take it easy."
"What the hell happened to me? What was that black stuff?" Kade asked frantically, wanting answers.
The staff looked regretful yet happy at the same time, as if they were witnessing history. The Doctor just walked over to a TV that was on the wall and turned it to the channel 4 news station. The title of the report was 'Super human powers out of control'.
His eyes widened as he saw pictures of buildings being set on fire by a guy covered in magma, and cars being picked up by a scrawny guy. His jaw dropped and he looked to them for reasons why that this was happening, although he secretly had a guess.
"We have reason to believe that that 'black stuff' was solar radiation mixed with an unknown substance, leading to advanced evolution in the cells." The Doctor said, filling in the blanks for Kade.
"We were sent here because you yourself got hit directly by the helix's, which every other reported case was an indirect exposure. So we came to see how it affects the gene mutation. We will be running some tests." The Doctor said sternly.
"I understand..."

After many tests being run, they concluded that his genes mutated, and on a much larger scale than that of the other cases.
There were 5 helix's, 4 hit populated areas and hit people indirectly while the 5th one went entirely into Kades body. This in turn caused a huge gene restructure which is why he suffered so much pain.
They didn't know what Kade could do so they had no choice but to head out to the nearby baseball field and test things out.
Kade first started out with flight. But sad to say, it didn't work.
'Awww, that sucks. I really wanted to be able to fly---' Just as Kade thought that, he flew straight up into the sky at speeds faster than MACH 3. The sensation of free flying had always been a dream of mankind, and now Kade achieved it.
He was a little confused though, why didn't it work the first time?
'Could it be I can have any power I wasn't? Nah... that would be too OP...'
He lowered himself to the ground but decided to try to see if he could give himself other powers. They first thing he did was to get [Omnikinesis] which is an ability that allows him to manipulate anything. From plants, rocks, the elements all the way to life itself. He thought about him receiving it and he tried to use it.
He raised his hands slowly over his head, as if guiding something from within the ground to come up. As he did that thick tree roots sprouted everywhere and they were all under his control. He tested his theory and he was correct, he could have any power he wanted.
"Hahahahahahahaha!" He laughed. "This is gonna be fun."
