Chapter 2 - What A Day

It was a new day. The sun's warm rays beamed on my face as I began to yawn. I stared out my window to see the lovely view of the crystal ocean surrounding my city. As I got up, I looked at my clock to see that I was 10 minutes late to highschool so I ran downstairs and made my oatmeal. After I finished, I rushed to the bathroom and had my relaxing shower to make sure I was ready for another bad day at school. Well as I expected it to be. I ran to school, sweating as I got there but glad that I didn't run into Stephanie. I'll tell you about her as you don't know her. Stephanie is my bratty bully who thinks that she's perfect. Which makes it worse is that she's the principal's daughter so she gets everything she wants and with the help of her friends, Stephanie beats me up nearly everyday and leaves me on the ground unconscious knowing that she'll get away with it. I just really HATE her but anyways back to the story. I got to class knowing that my stupid teacher would send me to detention as soon as I stepped into the classroom but weirdly that didn't happen. He greeted me with a bright white smile on his face and politely told me to sit in my seat. I was so weirded out that I couldn't focus on my science lesson and fell off my seat. Surprisingly, nobody laughed so I got up, dusted myself off and sat back down. Once the lesson was over, Mr.Akatoshi told me to stay behind because of the lesson so I stared out the window whilst my teacher was talking about the parts of the lesson that I missed and saw a mysterious figure move around the forest area of the school. I started to wonder who it was and forgot about Mr.Akatoshi. My teacher noticed me staring out the window and told me to go to detention. Annoyed, I got up and made my way to the detention room. What a great day. I saw stephanie with her friends walking through the corridor with wide smiles as they looked at my face. I knew their plans so I decided to run but as I was about to run, her boyfriend showed up and grabbed my arm tight and I could feel my heart beating faster and faster because I knew there was no escape. Suddenly, he pulled me behind him and told her to stop and I could see her face getting red in rage as he slapped her across her face leaving a pink mark. She began to scream in his face and her friends left her to defend herself. I was so shocked that I couldn't think straight and before I knew it, I got hit in my stomach by her boyfriend accidentally and fell to the floor hardly breathing. When I woke up,my head started to hurt from the drop and everything started spinning in my mind. I suddenly fell back onto the soft pillow and closed my eyes. After a couple of hours, my eyes opened to a bright light and I looked to my left to see half my class. I could see that they were worried for me since their expressions showed worry and in that group of people was Stephanie's ex - Dylen. I was told to stay laying down since I was too weak to go home and I felt sleepy again. Before my eyes closed, I told everyone in a calm voice that I would be alright and after a second or two, I fell into a deep sleep. The lights turned of and everyone was to leave my room. It hit midnight and I slowly Rose from the hospital bed and realised a note that was hidden underneath my pillow. I thought to myself,what a day, and read the note. It had a name which was blurred out from my sweat but I felt like I knew who it was from. With a sigh of relief, I looked out the window and saw the beautiful starry sky and yawned. I hoped that the next day of school would be better and a shower of stars passed through the sky. I fell asleep knowing that my wish would hopefully come true but I would just have to wait.
