They made their way towards the exit where they found vehicles parked one behind the other. Amelia directed them into entering the White Jeep of hers while Evelyn got on her motorbike.
Amelia made sure Patrick was alright and that the rest of the men were seated inside the vehicle. Evelyn turned the engine on and looked beside her to find Ian standing there.
"The Jeep won't fit all six of us.." He spoke, eyes fixed to his shoes.
"Whatever, hop on." She said before she held out a helmet to him.
What they'd thought was it was over once they reached the road. But they were still followed by vehicles. In all that tension, Ian had just to act carelessly.
"Hey... Just curious, is this a Kawasaki Ninja we're riding?" He asked, totally not aware of them being tracked down.
"Do me a favor, look behind us," Evelyn said.
Ian looked behind them to find several cars behind, speeding towards them.
Appalled at the sight, he asked, "What the- are we being chased?!"
"No, they're here for our safety."
"Oh, that's a relief-"
"Are you stupid? Of course, we're being chased!" Evelyn rebuked.
After being chased for this long, she knew the only way to get out of this situation was to split ways with her friend.
She turned the bike at full speed. "Now hold on tight."
They sped across the highway, skipping traffic lights and split roads with the Jeep.
"Where are we going?! I can't see the Jeep anymore!" Ian called out, gripping on the other as if his life depended on it, but Evelyn steered the bike at a speed that seemed like it kinda did.
"Shut up. I know where we're heading at."

In the middle of a highway was when Amelia noticed vehicles following them.
'𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘵...'
"Where are Ian and your friend? I don't see them." Lucas spoke, worried.
Amelia glanced at the rear-view mirror and noticed that Evelyn's racer and half the vehicles that chased them were nowhere to be seen.
"She's gonna distract them." She turned her eyes back at the road, "And as for the one behind us, I'll take care of that." She said before turning the gear, "Hold on tight. Things are gonna get bumpy in here."
She sped the car, exceeding the speed limit, and took turns at the most unexpected times which got the men at the back to grip on their seats. After a good ten minutes of chaos in the vehicle, Amelia made sure the cars that chased them lost track of them. She got back to a normal speed and checked on the others.
"Sorry if that got a bit too rough. Are you guys okay back there?" She asked.
"Yeah, we're good," Vincent replied.
"And how about Patrick? We're gonna be there in a few minutes. We'll get you some first aid done once we reach, alright?" Amelia said and Patrick nodded in response.
"Who were they?" Liam questioned, referring to the ones who chased them.
"You'll get to hear all of that once we reach. Right now, don't stress yourself."
Amelia knew who they were, but why and how they got there was a question for herself too. Things that were going on were sudden for the men, they'd take time to understand and digest the situation. And on top of that, all of them were worried sick about Patrick's condition no matter how many times he said he was alright. And Amelia knew that very well. She didn't know what was the reason behind the things going on lately, what she did know that the more she got to know these men, the more she wanted to protect them.

After a while of speeding through the roads, Evelyn looked back to see she'd lost the ones chasing them. So she decided to drive back home, assuming Amelia would do the same. Once they reached,
"We're here. Now get off of me." She said to the man still grasping onto her.
"What? Oh- Right, sorry." He got off the bike.
"And yeah, this sure is my Kawasaki Ninja. What are you, a biker?" Evelyn spoke, impressed by the latter's keen sense of observation.
"Yeah, you're right."
"Get in, I'll show you my collection." She removed her helmet.
"Wait, you've got a collection?" Ian asked, excited.
"Yep. It ain't much since I just started collecting them months ago."
"By the way, thanks for the ride. Although it felt like I'd fall off when you went for a lean angle, it was great."
"Not like I offered you a ride.."
The two talked about random things and ended up bickering about which one's better between a Harley Davidson Street Glide and Triumph Thruxton RS. Their conversation came to a pause when they heard the vroom of an approaching Jeep. It pulled up right in front of them. Amelia turned the engine off before she stepped outside followed by the rest of the men whose mouths fell agape at the view in front of them.
"Here we are." She said, looking at the place.
Ian never really looked around himself after they'd reached, but when he did, he couldn't believe his eyes.
"What mansion is this?"
"The manor belongs to the two of us," Amelia stated.
"What? The whole place belongs to just the two of you?" Liam asked, looking at the magnificent estate that stood before them.
"Yeah," Evelyn responded, not bothered at all. "Let's get in, it's hot outside." She walked towards the entrance.
"Get in, we'll get your wounds taken care of," Amelia said and guided them inside.
The inside was just as extravagant as it looked on the outside.
"I bet that by the next five minutes, you wouldn't wanna leave this place," Evelyn spoke, looking around the vast living room with large paintings, rugs, and of course luxury couches and chaise lounges. She looked back at the men, "Feel free to look around."
"After taking care of the wounds, that is." Amelia took Patrick and Liam towards the couch.
She rolled up Patrick's sleeve to reveal a bleeding cut.
The rest of them were surprised they haven't noticed it earlier. Liam wondered why was he there beside them while Amelia helped the younger. While she was at it, she grabbed something and turned to face Liam. She held out an icepack to him. Not knowing what to do, the man just stared back at her. Amelia clicked her tongue and pressed the icepack on the left side of his forehead.
Liam hissed in pain and looked at her.
"I noticed that you bumped your head on the window during the ride." She said, and Liam took the icepack in his hands, thanking her.
They both turned to find Evelyn staring at them.
"Don't mind me, I ship it."
"Shut up."
