Chapter - Two

As they entered the ' colossal ' hall, they found a stage at the front. There were three or four seats, a podium with a mike set high. The people who as they assumed to be teachers were seated, discussing about they don't know what. Guess they are waiting for the participants for exams to come over. There is ten more minutes left afterall. Hundreds of chairs were placed across the halls. Many students were already settled down with there friends. They sat down in the middle seats which where mostly empty as for everyone there were either concentrated to the front rows or the back rows and you know the reason why it is like that. They too now settled down. Two in the front and three in the back. It was easier to talk this way. They were bored. Although they tried to talk about things. Afterall they had talked for two hours straight about this and that and what not. It was already past fifteen minutes. Ryu knew that it was a ten minute more thing at the start but now it's late! More like five minutes late! This is when they noticed three more participants entering. The three of them quickly got settled right behind them. At this moment the teacher also got to the position. It was as if they were waiting for the three of them to come.

There where two boys and this girl. From them all was this guy in the middle. Seeing that guy was the best thing that happened to me. He looked soo cute!!!!! . Wait. What the fuck. What am I even thinking. What is this. Ugh. Shit. Breaking through my fight with my brain the teacher spoke. " Good morning. I'm Helen Roy. As of today I'll be your examiner. The exam will contain two parts - written and practical.  The written part contains the major points, a point of seventy and the practical will be of 30 points. There are 50 exams rooms. After this when you step out there will be a counter. Give your name card which you'll be given now. At the counter they will give your room number. And for the practical test we will only do some basic magic test. Nothing much to worry about. If you have any questions you can raise you hand, we will be answering those." Ms. Roy said in almost a bored tone. It was as if she want to get this over with and go sleep. Some students raised there hands, asking questions which they answered. By the last question we got to know the rest of the three teachers name. A Mr. Rhys Mill and a Mr. Herald Lee.... and a Mrs Stephanie Hails. Long names for sure.

We were all given our name cards. As the fact that its a slip with a sign of the teachers and we have to write our name on it, its not much of a card.  We went out to the corridor straight to the counter which was filled with the students who were in a line and were of the front row. Now I understand why they sat there... we rushed there to grab our spot making us split into different line set out there. This is when I notice who is in front of me. It was the guy from before.  But wasn't he settled behind us? I just let it go and stood there. Not having anything else to do but wait I started to study him. He was quiet tall. As tall as me but an inch shorter. Had slim structure and a toned body. Dirty blonde hair. If I remember he had a deep bluish eyes, button nose and plum li... "Hey go on it's your turn!" Someone behind me wisper shouted. My face heated up too red that I can feel it. I stopped daydreaming and gave my 'name card' that is they stuck it on to a board placed beside them and gave me a token. It was a red one and said '50'. I understood what it meant. I got out of the queue and texted in the group that my room is fifty. I knew different people get different tokens and it was pointless waiting for them. I saw a huge map hanging just next to the pillar at corner of the other side of the corridor. I rushed there taking a quick look to find fifty. It was at the first floor! Means no need to climb all the way up to the higher ones. I now had calmed down and started walking to the room just a floor above.

On reaching there I saw a room with barely 15 people. There were individual desks and chairs for each, and was kept at a specific distance. I walked over to the nearest desk and sat down, only to see the guy from earlier 'again', but now sitting there next to me! Me being me ignored the fact that he is there and reached my bag taking my stationers and setting them down neatly.  The examiner walked in giving a small grin and explaining the rules. I got bored and turned to the boy slightly. I started staring at him. He was looking at the examiner as well as wispering  to the girl he had come with. Lucky them. I got no one here that I know of... I turned back looking at the boy who was passing the exam sheets. Guess she didn't find me staring. I got my paper and started writing down of what I know. It's was quite easy.

He was done writing in thirty. An another half was left. He went through his answer paper again. By the time everyone finished. Though there was a fifteen minutes left, they started collecting the answer paper. After that we where given a different token. There was a huge '1st' and a small hall engraved on it. I got out to find my friend in getting out of the room next to ours. But the wrong choice of me zoning in the middle of the door looking at my dumb friend bumbing on to this guy and the blonde boy from earlier rushing towards the door without a break and falling on top of me and my lips crashing onto his...
