[37.3] A Very Zephyr Commentary

[Author's note: This chapter is from Zephyr's point of view.]

I yawned in boredom.

UGHHH! I HATE SINGING!

Can't they at least fight while they sing?!

I'd rather watch strangers getting into arguments or wives accusing their husbands of cheating!

Why did I even come to this crap!?

I should have told Reika to stick that extra ticket up her a**!!!

Well…

It's not so bad…

I get to see Hazel in such a provocative dress.

I licked my lips as I stared at her blatantly.

It's not bad!

It's not bad at all.

I wonder what she would do if I gave it a little squeeze?

Maybe she would slap me!

Heh…

I bet it would hurt too.

Hazel felt me staring and turned to me with a smile, "Do you like this dress that much?"

I snickered, "I like what's inside of it even more."

She giggled and reached out to scratch the bottom of my chin, "Such a charming little fox~"

I trembled in ecstasy.

Oh yeah…

That's the spot…

The curtains opened to reveal a woman in a tight rose-colored dress with a train that shimmered in the light.

Her long luscious brownish-red curly hair trailed down to her waist and bobbed as she moved. However, I couldn't make out her face as she wore a mask to cover it.

I let out another yawn and closed my eyes.

Great. Now the main singer is here…

That means it's almost over, right?

As soon as she started singing, I jumped up in my seat and stared ahead in shock.

That voice…

That voice!

I know that voice!

There's no mistaking it!

She always sang whenever she forced me to brush that unruly hair of hers!!

But what is SHE doing here!?

Is she working with my brother too!?!

Was this all a trap!?

No…

Maybe I'm wrong?

Maybe she just sings now?

Yeah… That's right.

There's no reason to suspect her of doing anything wrong.

She's not enchanting anyone with magic.

She's just singing.

I gulped.

Although…

Out of my entire family…

She always hated humans the most.

If my kind older brother became so twisted during these years, there's no way she got untwisted.

Or…

Or maybe I should give her the benefit of the doubt?

Ugh.

Why do I feel so anxious?

Welp.

There's no use worrying about it now.

She's not doing anything other than singing and if I ruin Reika's date she will roast me over a fire.

After this is done, I just need to find my sister and demand answers.

Yeah? Yeah!

Calm down!

As she sang, she tossed her hair. Roses suddenly grew along the wall as she danced around, almost as if every step she took created the roses.

Hazel hummed next to me, "Hmm. Roses. Someone must be a flora attribute. How interesting… Isn't it?"

I gulped fearfully, "H-Huh? Y-Yeah… Interesting…"

She glanced at me with a smile that was more ominous than usual, "Is something wrong?"

I shook my head slowly, "N-No… Nothing at all."

"Does she look so beautiful that you can't look away?" Her smile slowly turned sinister, "Do you want to be with her? Do you want to flirt with her?!"

I felt my fear instantly be replaced with disgust.

I looked at her with a scowl, "That's disgusting."

She unclenched her hands and let out a happy sigh, "That's good. I was always worried about her because she was so beautiful."

I looked at the arms of her chair and noticed she had crushed them.

I blinked, "Huh."

A girl who can smash a chair with her bare hands…

I wonder what else she could do with those hands?

Heh.

Everyone requested a Zephyr POV chapter, so there you go!

Enjoy this small tidbit into the mind of our beloved character~
