Chapter 99 - Date with Kei (1)

Chapter 99

Fumizuki Academy is a well-known academy throughout Japan. Although Fumizuki Academy isn't that prestigious as Shuuchiin or Soubu, the key thing that undoubtedly made the academy well-known is its unique system.

The academy divide which students enter which class by how good their test results. Of course, this system itself started when they became the second-year students. Because the first year is what you call a tutorial before the system itself started.

Furthermore, it utilizes a very unique technology to intentionally allow their students to summon a kind of monster with the same face the students but smaller. The academy also allows their students from the second year onward to declare war to another class to claim the class for themselves.

Naturally, they declared war for a reason. In that academy, the facility that given to the class differed from class A which is the best class to class F which is the worst class. In fact, as class A has a sofa and drink bar in their class, class F only uses a cheap tea table to study.

At any rate, today we're going to such Fumizuki Academy to enjoy ourselves in their cultural festival. Even though I said we can go anywhere she wants, Kei said she wanted to go to this cultural festival. Because she thinks I need a reference for the first cultural festival I will take the lead in.

In the end, I gratefully accepted it with a beaming smile on my face. Really, what an adorable girl. Now, in the crowded street, Kei and I are walking leisurely while holding our hands. Kei looks very happy with her rosy cheek as she talks about many things while we walk.

Still, I can sense murderous gazes as we almost reached the school. It is indeed murderous, but it's not full of malice but envy. When I look at the surrounding, there are several men wearing a dark robe that covered their whole body with an F symbol on their forehead hiding around here and there.

I can even hear the sounds of teeth-gritting from them and some murmur like, "Can't be forgiven! Riajuu!" or "Uggh, too bad he wasn't our school's student." Well, because they are harmless, I let them gaze at me with envy. Or wait, let's tease them a bit.

"Come here, Kei. With this, you will never get separated from me." I looked at Kei with a smile as I gently pulled her closer and squeezed her hand more intimately.

"Y-yes senpai..." Kei lowered her head with a beaming smile and reddened cheek as she leaned her head a bit on my shoulder.

"GGRAGARAGARAGARA" A man with full-body dark robes and F symbol on his forehead roared like a monster while trembling on the ground.

"Captain Sugawa!" The other black-robed man beside him frantically said.

Other people that aren't from this academy looking at them weirdly but the students of this school just calmy walk passed them as if they have seen this kind of scene many times.

"What happens to him?" Kei curiously asked.

"I don't know. But maybe he is jealous of us?" I grinned and said.

"I-I see..." Kei once again lowered her head blushingly.

We walk through a dark corridor with Kei who was scared cling to my hand very closely. Right now we're at the haunted school one of the classes in this academy opened. Although this haunted house was a really good quality to the point of many guests that came before us, screamed.

"Kei, are you scared? I thought you are good with this kind of thing." I chuckled a bit and said.

I can't blame her for being scared at this since I even think Kaguya...No, maybe not Kaguya. Even Nanaka...okay, not her too. I can only imagine both of them smiling when the ghosts appeared. Kaori will surely scare by this high-quality haunted house.

"I'm not scared! This is just so we won't get separated. It's very dark after all." Kei immediately denied and tightly squeezed my hand with a reddened face.

"Yes, yes, I understand," I said while affectionately looking at such an adorable reaction of her.

Then, we continue walking in the dark until both of us found something dropped on the ground. More like, it's suddenly appeared at our feet. Kei, who saw that curiously looked at the thing, a coin that appeared right in front of her feet as if she forgot her scaredness.

Both of us squatted to take the coin and suddenly a white dress can be seen in our eyes. Below the dress, there are no feet and it looks like floating. Kei gulped and slowly lifted her head with a terrified expression.

Then, her line of sight stopped at the face of the woman who wears the dress. The woman's face was pale and disorderly while looking at us with a terrifying pair of eyes.

"KYAAAAAAAAAA" Kei screamed and instantly squeezed my hand and run away from that place.

Needless to say, I am not scared of it. I mean, I even have an outer god eating pancakes in my house, no way I am scared by a ghost even if it's the real one. However, maybe that outer god herself will get scared by this too.

"That was scary!" Kei said right after we went out of the haunted house. The students who manage the guests smirked when his class succeeded once more.

"Indeed. That's a very high quality haunted house. I can't believe it's made by high schoolers." I nodded and said.

"But, the Kei who was scared of a haunted house is also adorable." I lowered my head and sweetly whispered right into her ear.

"Uuu..." Kei's face blushed and smoke started coming out from her face as she heard what I said.

"Hehe, it works well to wash away your scaredness right?" I smiled and said.

"...Nn..." Kei looked away and shyly nodded.

"Well, let's go visit other places," I said then I gently held Kei's hand as I moved her more closer like before.

---

We visited many classes and clubs such as the Manga Club who obviously sells their original manga, a class that opened fortune-telling, and the Caligraphy Club. We visited many classes and clubs such as the Manga Club who obviously sells their original manga, a class that opened fortune-telling, and the Caligraphy Club.

Right now, we're looking around at the second-year corridor to find a place to eat. We found one which is class 2-A that opened a maid cafe. But when we were about to enter, a little girl who asked something to a student piqued our interest.

"Onii-chan, do you know where I could find the most idiot Onii-chan?" The little girl asked a student. Hearing that, Kei and I looked at each other wonderingly.

"Ah, it must be Yoshi. His class is at the end of this corridor." The student instantly understood who was the person asked by the little girl and said.

"Thank you, Onii-chan!" The girl smiled and said.

"Ah, but, I think you shouldn't go there because it seems their service isn't good." The student added.

"It's fine! I just go to visit someone!" The girl smiled and said.

"Then, be careful, okay?" The student smiled and said.

"Nn!" The little girl nodded and promptly went to the directions the student told her to.

"That seems interesting, do you want to visit it, Kei?" I asked.

"Sure, I do want to see what kind of person being a landmark with that kind of title." Kei laughed a bit and said.

"Haha, that's true. Let's go then!" I laughed and said.
