I Did It

They soon left the club after their all night out. With mark drunk and Dylan was no where in sight. Of course Zayn the only one who Is sober enough and was not carried away by the excessive alcohol and fun, has to bear the trouble.

Mark was completely wasted! He couldn't even speak coherently. He had to leaned on zayn for support.

"Am I dropping you off at your house or at your dorm?" Zayn asked with unlaced irritation.

"Come on dude! you..... you.... know where I... wanna be right now." Mark said as he kept breaking every word. Which was annoying Zayn to the core.

"Where?!" Zayn half screamed feeling the wave of utter frustration filling him to the brim now.

"Hahahaha inside somewhere wet" Mark whispered to zayn before he roared out a laugh.

Zayn expression didn't falter one bit as he stared murderously at Mark. He immediately pushed him into the backseat of the car as he drove straight for the Hilton Mansion.

He knew mark was in no perfect condition to face his parents, but they should know him by now. At least this is not the first time he came home drunk. But he thought to drop him off at the school dormitory, looking at the time it was way passed the curfew imposition but for them it's an exception.

Maybe he should just drop him off at the school's dorm. No! it will be better to drop him off at home instead, so he could be properly attended to.

Zayn thought with frustration, he decided to drop him off at home anyway.

"Welcome home Dad!" Hazel welcomed with a huge smile gracing her lips.

"Thank you sweetie." George replied while pulling off his coat.

"Dad, mom prepared dinner, you are home late so yours is at the table. It's still warm go freshen up and come eat." Hazel replied as she collected the coat from her father.

"Sure sweetie. where is your mom?" George ask while looking around inquisitively.

"Oh she is at back, I think she's busy with something she will be in soon." Hazel responded, her smile not wavering one bit.

"Okay. My princess looks so happy today what's the happiness about? share with Daddy." George replied with a laugh.

"Dad! Go shower and come down for dinner first." Hazel responded with a giggle.

"Oh so the is indeed something." George said, quite surprised.

"Dad! hurry up." Hazel rushed him.

George let out a laugh as he made his way to the bathroom.

After George left hazel sighed happily clapping her hands together before she walked away to her bedroom.

10 minutes later, George was seated at the dinner table eating his meal while Hazel watched sat watching him like she was watching a movie.

"You said your Mom made this right?"

"Yes." Hazel replied.

"Then why are you looking at me expectanctly like this is your first meal and you want a review from me." George asked with raised brows.

"Aish Dad! can't I watch you eat."

"Well if that's the case then." George said putting his attention back on his food.

Claudia stepped in taking of her gloves, it looks like she was out at the garden. A basin which they didn't know it contents was dropped at the kitchen counter by her before she made her way to the table with a smile.

"You are back already, welcome home." Claudia greeted as she sat the seat beside her husband.

Her excitement was visible on her face like she can't wait to share something, her eagerness was obvious. This indeed made George curious, by the behavior of both is wife and child, surely the is something.

"You guys are not keeping something from me are you?" George ask with squinted eyes which made them laugh out loud.

"Spill it." George uttered already getting suspicious.

Hazel and Claudia exchanged glances before Claudia spoke up. "Tell him dear."

Hazel nodded frantically, bobbing her head up and down like she couldn't wait, her smile was so wide leaving one wondering if her face isn't aching yet. She faced her Dad.

"Dad I finally got a scholarship into my dream school, I did it Dad!" Hazel said almost emotional.

She didn't feel like this when she broke the news to her mother. But maybe because she has always wanted to make her Dad proud. She had promised him a new life. Of course she had watched the way he suffered for she and her mother, he always made sure her fees are cleared even when it is hard for him.

"I did it Dad." She repeated. Seeing the look on his face, her determination not to fail them but make them proud increased as she mentally promise herself this.
