Chapter 5

"I'm back" Cassandra said as she walked into the house.

"Welcome" Mr Vincent said sitting leisurely.

"How was the concert?" Amelia asked.

"It was wow.... They guy is pretty good at singing" Cassandra replied.

Amelia held Cassandra's face as if she was looking for something... "What's up mom?" Cassandra said.

"Hmmmm just want to be sure you are not having a crush on that boy" Amelia said looking serious, causing Cassandra and her father to gape at her.

"Jeez... Mom, I have future to focus on... So no crushing on any boy for now."Cassandra said and went to her room immediately.

"Liam,... You were amazing today" Gabriella said jumping and clapping her hands happily, making Liam to smile at her childish behavior. But all of a sudden she stopped and feigned a sad face "I just hope all this girls will not take you away from me" she said and Liam halted in his steps, the he turned his sister around to look at him. "None of those girls can get my attention, and you will always have a special place in my heart. Besides, I don't like girls that always want to be noticed by guys" he said and turn and walked away.

Gabriella felt relief, at least Kate don't have a chance. She smiled and went to her room.

Liam sat down at the edge of his bed recalling the look on her face when he smiled at her, it seems like she was not expecting to see him again.... The look on her face was cute at that moment he thought. He was hoping to speak with her again but it was like she just left immediately the concert ended. "Huh,... Seems like you are totally different from those girls" he said smiling. But then another thought popped up in his head making him to frown, why is he thinking about about her the most this days...?, could it be that he has start liking her?... "Cassandra... What have you done to me?..."he said gritting his teeth in frustration and then he fell back on his bed as if there was no strength in him.

on Monday morning, Cassandra was in school very early. She sat down and open her mathematics text book for some revision and all of a sudden, someone closed the book. She looked up and found Kate glaring hard at her.

"What's the problem this time Kate?" Cassandra asked with a straight face.

"I don't think there is a problem, but I just don't know why I just don't like you" Kate replied.

"Oh... Really? Maybe it is because you don't know why you like me so much" Cassandra replied with a smirk annoying Kate the more.

"Who is bothering my baby?" Gabriella said walking into the class.

T"Good morning Gabriella" Cassandra greeted.

"Morning my love, hope you slept well?" Gabriella replied.

"Yes I did " Cassandra replied.

Miss Lilian stood by the door looking at the three girls. Somehow, she felt something is wrong somewhere but she just can't figure it out. Sensing her presence, the girls turned and greeted her.

"Cassandra, can you please help me arrange my table in the staffs office? I need to rush back home "she said.

"Sure" Cassandra replied and quickly left for the staffs office.

"Gabriella why do you like that annoying girl?" Kate asked angrily as soon as Cassandra and miss Lilian left.

"Isn't it obvious that she is a nice person?" Gabriella replied.

"Jeez... Gabriella, You should be on my side. After all I'm Liam's soon to be girlfriend, so the earlier you get closer to me the better for you." Kate said.

"Hmmm in your dreams" Gabriella replied and then left the class.

As Cassandra was about to step into the staffs office, she bumped into someone and stumbled backwards but he caught her to prevent her from falling... Cassandra just stared at him in a daze. He was also taken aback, why does she seem to appear frequently?.
