Chapter 45

His words rang in her head again and she found herself smiling. Liam froze at the sight of her lips curving into the sweet smile. He was trying so hard to hold himself back but her smile widened and Liam lost his sanity. So he slammed his lips on her's making Cassandra immobile. She couldn't think of anything for a while. Everything happened so fast. Liam pulled away and hugged her silently for a while before speaking.

"I'm so sorry" he apologized but Cassandra was quite.

"Don't get mad at me please..." Liam spoke again. He was so scared that she she might stop talking to him like the other time.

After a while of silence, Cassandra pulled away from the hug and looked at his face for a while. It was like she was looking for something or trying to read his expression. The more she looked at him, the more she feel so attracted to him that she ended up admiring his look.

"it's no big deal" Cassandra finally spoke and Liam released the breath he didn't even know he was holding. "Thank You..." He whispered and Cassandra smiled.

"Good night Liam..." She said and turned to go back home.

Liam stood there looking at her till there was no sign of her again. Gosh he was already missing her. This mystery girl of his that just appeared out of nowhere.

Cassandra rushed into her room the moment she stepped into the house. She was have a mixed feeling of shyness, guilt and excitement. One could hear the sound of her heart beats as she recalled everything that happened. Damn, this guy has succeeded in frying her up. She lay on her bed hugging her teddy bear and smiling as she remembered his unique scent and the warmeth in his embrace. She just love everything about it.

"I love you to Liam..." She said as she drift into the sleeping world.

On Monday morning, Liam was in school before everyone. He was just so eager to see Cassandra even though they were together last night. Liam just can't figure out how he got to be so obsessed and addicted to her.

"Hey Liam..." It was Diana instead of Cassandra.

"Hi" Liam replied shortly with an uninterested look.

"Oh come on, it's been a while you know. I've missed you but... You are being so cold towards me" Diana feigned a sad and frustrated tune.

"Diana, I will appreciate if you stay away from me "Liam replied.

Diana turned to leave, she saw Cassandra. Something popped into her head and she ran back and hugged Liam making him confused.

When Cassandra saw Diana hugging Liam she felt her heart clenching in a very painful way. "I told you I will come back for you" Cassandra recalled daina's words on the first day they meet. 'Could it be that Diana is Liam's girlfriend?' Cassandra couldn't just bare the pain of that thought.

The confused Liam raised his head and saw Cassandra looking silently at them.

Unable to stand the pain, Cassandra ran away. That was when Liam realized what was going on. He push Diana away and went after Cassandra. Diana stood there with an evil smirk on her face.

"Let's wait and see how it ends Liam" she said and went to the class. Through out that day, Cassandra did everything to avoid Liam.

After school, Cassandra took a different road to back home. She just don't want to talk to Liam or she will end up breaking down in front of him.

"Bro... What's going on? I noticed you were absent minded through out" David asked.

"And Cassandra has been avoiding him" James added.

"Guys I need to explain things to Cassandra. This morning she saw Diana hugged me" Liam said.

"Wow... Guy don't tell me you are also dating Diana" James said thoughtfully.

"What nonsense" Liam said hitting James lightly.

"I guess Diana did it purposely because everything happened so sudden." Liam explained.

"Oh... Then go to her house later" David suggested.

Cassandra was on her way home still thinking about what happened earlier. "Why did I even fall for you?" Cassandra asked herself.

"It hurts so much..." Cassandra said.

She was still walking when someone from nowhere dragged her and she passed out.
