Chapter 24

After Singing, Cassandra left the stage... Everybody was cheering. Those who recorded it on their phones posted on various social media apps.

"I never knew you are this good at singing" Liam said hugging Cassandra.

"You killed it girl..." Gabriella said

"Ok... So you guys want to do musician love" James said smiling.

"No.... We call this up coming celebrities love" David said and they all laughed.

Liam could not take his eyes off Cassandra. He found himself smiling for no reason.

"I think... You are already running mad ooo guy. You keep acting strange"James whispered to Liam.

"What nonsense..." Liam said pushing him away and James laughed.

A group of students gathered around Cassandra wanting to snap with her... She was like a kind of celebrity in school.

"I can't believe this..." Diana said angrily.

"Me too... Like she ended up being popular instead of a laughing." Kate replied.

"Then You have to change in order to avoid disappoinments in the future" Kenneth said mockingly as he stood beside them.

"Whatever..." Kate replied and she and Diana left.

"Ok guys.... I will love to kidnap her from you guys" Liam said while dragging Cassandra.

"A minute please..." Cassandra said to Liam.

"No way... I was quite jealous they had your attention" Liam said with a serious tune.

"What?" Cassandra said with a small disbelief laugh.

"So... My girlfriend..." Liam did not complete his sentence because Cassandra flinched.

"what is it?" Liam asked feeling confused.

"Uhmmmm.... Nothing" Cassandra replied.

"Are You sure?" Liam asked

"Of course." Cassandra replied.

"Ok... Then. I never thought you have such an amazing voice" Liam said.

"I do... Just that I usually find it difficult to sing in public" Cassandra replied.

"Then why did you do it?" Liam asked.

"Because I had a feeling Kate and Diana are up to something" Cassandra replied.

"Wow..." Was all Liam could reply.

"Results will be out tomorrow... What are you expecting?" Cassandra asked.

"I know I did well... But let's wait and see." Liam replied.

"Oh..." Cassandra said.

"It's getting cold, I guess you should go to be" Liam said.

"Sure... Good night" Cassandra said and turned to leave.

"A good girlfriend should give her boyfriend a hug or better still a peck before going to bed" Liam said making Cassandra to halt in her steps. Then she came back, gave him a hug and ran. Liam could only smile and shake his hand.

"Diana, Kate... You guys should learn a lesson from today." Jane said.

"Oh shut up you traitor..." Kate replied.

"Whatever... I am glad to be a traitor to an evil soul.... Why can't you just let that girl be? The last time I checked she did nothing wrong to any of you, or is it her fault that Liam is falling head over heels for her? I will advice you to find something important to do with your miserable lives and leave innocent people alone" Jane ranted and left, not giving them a chance to say anything. Kate laughed in disbelief and looked at Diana. Meanwhile, unknown to Jane David has been watching her closely and secretly following her.
