In the infirmary, Liam sat down beside Cassandra holding her hand and feeling sad, or is it anger?.

"I'm sorry Cassandra... I was late" he whispered. At that moment he felt so down, he was supposed to be there for her, to protect her but he just failed... 'Do I even deserve you?' He asked inwardly. Just then Cassandra stirred and opened her eyes...

"Hey... Can you hear me?" Liam asked immediately.

"Liam...?" She manager to say with a frown.

"Yes...? Are you ok...?" He asked.

"Yeah... Just that my head hurts" she replied.

"Right, just wait for me... I will get the doctor" he said and left in a haste. After few minutes, he came back with the school's doctor.

"How are you feeling?" Doctor Sam asked.

"I'm good... But my head hurts" Cassandra replied.

"I will be right back" Doctor Sam said and left.

"Cassandra... I'm sorry... I failed to protect you" Liam said looking sad.

"Hey... I should be the one apologizing... For making you guys worried" Cassandra replied.

"You were trying to avoid me right?" Liam asked with a mischievous smile.

"What.... W... Why would i?" Cassandra stammered.

"It's written all over your face" Liam replied.

"Uhmmmm... Uhmmmm.... I wasn't avoiding you..." Cassandra managed to say

"Here... Have some rest and take this drugs later" doctor Sam said as soon as he came back.

"Thank You sir... Is she free to go?" Liam said.

"sure..." Doctor Sam replied.

"Thank You doctor Sam" Cassandra said with a sweet smile.

"My pleasure... Make sure you take good care of yourself" doctor Sam replied and left.

"Why did you smile at him that way?" Liam asked looking annoyed which made Cassandra to get confused.

"Such smile is meant for me and me alone" Liam added and Cassandra burst into an uncontrollable laughter.

"Like... You are jealous? I'm not even your girlfriend" Cassandra said between the laugh. The laughter eventually stopped the moment Liam lean in and brought his face close to her's.

"You will soon be my girlfriend..." Liam whispered with a husky voice making Cassandra to hold her breathe and mind going blank.

"Gabriella!..." James called out and ran to where Gabriella is.

"James, what's up?" Gabriella said with a smile.

"huh, I thought my Cinderella ran away... Thank God she is here" James replied dramatically placing his chest like someone having a heart attack.

Confused, Gabriella asked "where is she?"

"Ouch... Can you be serious... You should Atleast give your boyfriend a hug." James said smiling mischievously.

"When, where and how did I become your girlfriend....?" Gabriella asked.

"I think I dreamt of it last night...." James replied awkwardly scratching his head.

"Seems like my brother is looking for you... Go, go, go..." Gabriella said pushing slightly pushing him. The moment he left, Gabriella found herself smiling and shaking her head at how funny and childish he can be.

"You like him right?" Cassandra said standing next to Gabriella.

"No... I don't... What are you even saying..." Gabriella replied anxiously.

"Well... I think you obviously do..." Cassandra said trying to tease her friend.

"Common Cassandra, stop saying that" Gabriella said feeling a little bit shy.

"Are You sure...?" Cassandra asked.

"Well... I think I do have a slight crush... But please don't tell anyone" Gabriella said.

"Ok... Lover girl" Cassandra said.
