Chapter 15

Immediately Liam saw her running away, he went after her. 'God Liam, she might be angry' he said inwardly. Kate stood there unable to move or talk... Did he just confess to her in front of everyone? No... This is embarrassing.

"Hey Kate... Why is he not asking you to be his girlfriend" Jane said mockingly.

"Oops... My brother hate girls like her actually" Gabriella replied and they both laughed. Unable to stand the mockery she ran away.

"Cassandra wait!" Liam said as he caught up with her.

"What do you want? You want to embarrass me again right?" Cassandra said feeling annoyed.

"Hey... That's not my intention, I'm serious about it. I liked you from the first day we met but I thought I was over thinking, but damn the whole thing is driving me insane. I just have to admit it."

Liam replied looking straight into her eyes. Cassandra stood there not knowing what to do or say.

"I'm sorry if I embarrassed you" Liam said after a while of silence. Cassandra just remained immobile, he sounded sincere.

"I want to be alone" Cassandra said and left.

"Liam!....." Kate called out angry as soon as Cassandra left.

"What is it Kate? " Liam asked looking frustrated.

"Is she better than me? You should know I have always wanted to be your girlfriend, I like you Liam... What's so special about her?" Kate ranted like mad woman. Liam just looked at her for a while and started walking away.

"Guess she turned you down" Kate said causing Liam to halt.

"She is not like you... And I believe that she will also like me eventually" Liam said and left making Kate to get more angry. Kate stood still for a while and then an idea popped into her head making her to laugh mischievously.

Cassandra sat down in the tent lost in thoughts, why will he like her? Their are so many girls out there that will suit him.

"Hey girl, why did you run away?" Gabriella asked as soon as she enters the tent.

"Don't get me wrong... I just felt embarrassed, he shouldn't have said it publicly...." Cassandra replied.

"Do You know how many girls envied you? " Gabriella asked.

"Hey, forget about that, I don't think I will be able to face your brother again" Cassandra replied.

"Hmmmmm... Tell me, do you like him?" Gabriella asked.

"I... Don't know..., I'm sleepy good night" Cassandra replied and lied down.

"You can't run away from the questions, get ready for them tomorrow" Gabriella said while pouting her lips and also lied down.

When Gabriella woke up in the morning Cassandra was already out.

"I knew you will run away" she said feeling bad.

"Where is Cassandra?" Liam asked his sister as soon as she walked out of the tenth.

"You should say good morning at least l" Gabriella replied

"Ok good morning ma...." Liam said jokingly.

"Well I don't know where she is... I woke up and she is no where to be found." Gabriella replied. Just then someone screamed.

"Cassandra?" Liam said and both of them ran towards the direction of the sound. When they got there, they both halted in their tracks surprised at what they saw. Its obvious that Kate pushed Cassandra down a sloppy area. Liam felt angry rising up from within him but this is not the time for this... He ran to where Cassandra was lying.

"Cassandra...." He called out softly while shaking her.

"Cassandra.... Look at me..." He said when she did not move or make any sound.

"She is unconscious Liam... Let's take her to the infirmary" James said looking worried. Liam then carried her in his arms and start walking towards the infirmary. His sister and friends were all surprised, like Liam of all people is shivering?.

"And where is kate? " Gabriella said angrily. When the others snap out of their dazed state Kate was nowhere to be found.
