Chapter 12

"Thank You..." He whispered and then pulled away. "Good night" he added with a smile and then hopped into the car and lef. Cassandra stood there staring at the space were the car disappeared. She couldn't figure herself out, she was a total mess. What is this feeling?.... Shaking off the thought, she went into the house.

"I'm back...." She said

"Welcome back" Mr. Vincent said.

"Hope You had fun?" Amelia said.

"Yes mom.... I'm so tired right now. Good night...." Cassandra said heading to her room.

"Food is ready..." Amelia said.

"I'm not hungry...." Cassandra replied and entered her room. She took a shower and went to bed. After lying down for a while, she remember what happened earlier. Why would he hug her?. Her heart started racing wildly that she could hear it, her temperature was also high. What was all this? What did Liam do to her? Closing her eyes tightly, she screamed.

"Are You ok?" Her parents said rushing into the room.

"Mom, is this normal?" She said said placing her mother's palm on her chest.

"Did You jump or dance?" Amelia asked.

"No mom" she replied.

"Your temperature is also high, maybe it's fever" Amelia said with her palm on Cassandra's forehead.

"I will get some drugs for you, and we will go to the hospital tomorrow" Mr. Vincent said and Cassandra nodded.

After taking the drugs, her parents left. Cassandra tried hard to sleep but she could not. What the hell is wrong with her?

Liam stood by his window staring at the starry sky and smiling... "I like you Cassandra..." He said smiling widely.

On Friday morning, Amelia helped her daughter in packing up the important things she will need.

"Huh! Can't believe I won't be seeing my angel for the next one week" Mr. Vincent said.

"Horny, it's just a week... What will you do if she is going to get married?" Amelia replied.

"Mmm You are right... I just can't imagine her leaving this house one day as somebody's wife. Just wish she won't grow." Mr. Vincent said. Amelia could only chuckle at her husband's childish behavior.

"What are you two love birds talking about?" Cassandra said as soon as she stepped out of her room.

"Nothing... Just make sure you have a lot of fun and be happy. And remember, always be yourself" Mr. Vincent said smiling.

"Sure daddy..." Cassandra replied happily.

"Don't forget to stay out of trouble" Amelia said.

"Sure mom... It's time to go" Cassandra replied carrying her laugage.

"Bye dear... Mommy will miss you " Amelia said.

"I will miss her too..." Cassandra replied and left with her dad.

"What are you still doing Liam..?!" Gabriella said impatiently.

"Let's go..." Liam replied coming out of the house. They both hopped into their car.

"Do You think I have a chance?" Liam asked Gabriella after a while of silence.

"I dont know for now... But you can try" Gabriella replied.

"Students and teachers, You are welcome to this term's camping party. Today we will just have alot of fun as a welcoming party" Mr. Mark the vice principal stood on the stage and said.

"Want some drink?" Liam said standing next to Cassandra.

"Sure" she replied and collected the drink he offered. Wait... Why does she seem to trust this guy? The normal Cassandra would have rejected the drink thinking there might be something in it.
